  1. Looks like you are making good progress, the parts look really good. I can imagine those small gears are hard to hold onto.
  2. I have also bought several Recon. tools from CPO and they have been like new and I have not had a problem with any of them They are a good company to deal with I believe.
  3. O.K Heres an update I started cutting the parts out for the 'Creepy Bot" last Saturday, I worked some yesterday and some more today and I have finally got all the parts for this one cut. I now need to do some sanding to get rid of the fuzzies and a couple of places need cleaning up. Next thing I need to do is make a trip to my hardware store for the necessary rods screws, and tubes that I will need to assemble it I got the motor pretty quickly form amazon like in three days. So now all I need is luck and patitence Karl

  5. Got my plans last evening, like Paul said the instructions are a little confusing the firs time through. I will have to do some studying before I get started it looks like it isn't too difficult, I will just have to work through it slowly.

  7. Happy Valentines Day to everyone.I took my bride out for breakfast today.
  8. My preference is the Bosch which I haven't seen mentioned, It related a Makita that I had forever, but it finally died. I like the Bosch low vibration, and good dust collection
  9. Yep for sure, compared to other woodworking supplies, Scroll saw blade costs don't even come into the picture like a $90.00 table saw blade does. But this hobby is what it is and I can't put a price on the enjoyment i get from it!
  10. I am not concerned with the legality, I have been woodworking for over 50 years and have NEVER sold anything that I have made,I can't see where there is a problem making one of these toys for my grandchild. I know for a fact that Wood magazine states that you can use any of their patterns and sell up to 25 pieces with no problem. Here's hoping that I don't get busted for making a pull toy.
  11. I ran across this site and thought I would share it http://www.greenvillewoodworkers.com/subpages/toyplans.htm
  12. What about a router speed control? If the dremel has a brush type motor this should work
  13. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and also to those serving in the military that are unable to be with their families, Come home safely.
  14. Good Information Charley, Thanks for posting it for us.
  15. I started out using Flying Dutchman blades and just keep on using them, Mike was so kind and helpful when I called him and the service was top notch. I have not tried the Olson blades so I can not compare the two brands. I like what I have right now so I probably won;t change. I am sure that both brands are good blades.
