  2. I put one of these on my drill press about five years ago and am very well pleased 0.0005 runout nad never a problem gripping the smallest bit. Pay the (Very reasonable) price and cry no more. From the little machine shop.
  3. Google Corner chisels and you will get a few to check out. from about twenty dollars and up to over a hundred, depending how deep your pockets are.
  4. Good, Glad you figured it out, happy scrolling. You are on your way!
  5. Have you tried putting pressure on the uper arm and sliding the blade forward? From the picture that looks to me like how it is removed. The upper arm may have enough flex to alow it to move down a slight amount. Just an opinion and I don't want you to break anything.
  6. Indeed, it is so sad to hear, when it could have been prevented so easily. I know most people don't think as I do but when it is possible to do things to protect ourselves and we don't do them is way beyond my understanding as to why? I know the family is devastated and my heart goes out to them during this difficult time. Just my $.02
  7. Did you get the Vaccine shot?
  8. Beautiful cutting . Thank you for showing us.
  9. Blades are the cheapest part of scrolling, My thoughts are if you c an't afford a .$25 cent blade then you need to find a different hobby. Perhaps I am fortunate enough to be able to afford blades, so I don't even give it a thought about what one costs. I don't mean to offend you but there are costs to all hobbies and some of them are very expensive .Don't worry about the cost, just enjoy what you are doing.
  10. Very Nice work , fit and finish looks to be right on. You should be proud.
  11. We need an Emoji for Beating a dead horse on here!
  12. Get one and never look back, They are a god send when you can no longer negotiate steps like me. I look at it like this I worked all my life to get us where we are now , so it's time to get what we want and enjoy what ever life we have left, I know it won't last forever!
  13. Ben I had the stair problem also until I finally gave in and purchased a Stair Lift, Problem solved!! Not cheap but I am able to get to the shop which is what matters.
  14. I have never seen plywood in a 8 X 10 sheet How do you haul it? Or do they cut it for you?
  15. Very nice work, wood choices are right on the money, Well Done!

  19. dan It's walnut with Maple letters and I flocked the inside. Used the 5mm barrel hinges which I love to use for these small boxes.
  20. Beautiful box , Well done.
  21. Made this Box for my SIL for her birthday to hold a deck of playing cards.
  22. After seeing it cleaned up, I vote for genuine Mahogany, Incredible find .You should go buy a lottery ticket. very nice piece of timber.
  23. You said it was really heavy, It possibly could be Jatoba, some people call iy Brazilian Cherry. It is very heavy and dense. I have a few pieces of it and use it sparingly for accent pieces. It resembles Mahogany somewhat.
  24. But another one and you will have some spare parts LOL!
  25. P>S> the bearing that is leaking is a shielded bearing , and I would replace it this a sealed bearing if at all possible. Get the numbers from the old bearings.
