    Finally I have an opportunity to cut new projects by new scroll saw - Proxxon DS 230. In general, if you have a choice and financial opportunity, then I would not recommend this scroll saw, but at the moment for me it has some advantages. Anyway here is my first project in 2 year - 3D sphere. I hope such patterns will be popular: it looks unusual and eye-catching, interesting to assemble, it could be made of scraps of wood (as each piece is not large) and it could be assembled without glue.     I have just 2 Easter patterns, so this year I decided to make a set. It contains 12 Easter Eggs patterns: 3 signs, 3 ornaments, 3 crosses and 3 animals. Also I added a stand (optional) Easter Egggs pattern

    Creating patterns of cars, motorcycles and other teechnic is more difficult - it is necessary to accurately depict different elements so that the overall image is recognizable and looks correct from a technical point of view. This was a challenge for me, as well as for scrollers who want to do this - there are a lot of straight lines and fragile areas. Btw pattern includes 2 sizes if you think it is too difficult.     My first pattern of 2024 and it is a scroll saw pattern of a scroll saw. I tried to make it detailed but not too diffiult. I recommend to use two types of wood or stains, three - if you want to make variant with cat (it is optional). Pattern - https://alexscrollsaw.com

    Here is my new set of geometric patterns with spherical effect, each consists of 3 layers, size 7x7 inches, I recommend to use different types of wood or stains, it adds a good deapth effect with spherical geometry. I dont know who it is, at his profile country is russia. And after that hi asked me pattern for free. That is all you need to know about russians. I have nothing more to add.

    Time to time I meet gnome projects and patterns, I dont know why they are popular, but I decided to make one too. There are many different gnome patterns I saw, but I think such 3D is the first one. Project could be assembled without gluing, with dowels.     My new Halloween set. Each pattern consists of 3 layers, recommended to use stains or 2 types of wood, 1/8 inch. Approximate size of each pattern is 3,5 x 3,5 inches.     Agree, but patterns includes names of states, so even someone will make all states, they cant be put in US border frame.

    From time to time I met such projects as US states with their borders and symbols, but they were quite simple: just contours or not detailed. I thought it will be interesting to make such layered patterns in one style. But I doubted for a long time: this is a huge amount of work and I do not know how popular scrollsawing is in different states. After all I decided to do it - it was a real challange for me. Last two weeks I was working non stop to be in time for the Midwest Scroll Saw Trade Show (August 4 and 5, 2023). By the way special thanks to Jim Ellenberger, who helped me with some usefull information and link, also he will present this US state set patterns at this Trade Show. Do you recognize symbols of your and other states? Interesting your thoughts, even if you will not plan to make these projects. Each pattern consists of 4 layers (3+background). There is no floating areas (one layer - one piece). Recommended thickness is 1/8 inch. All patterns are available at https://alexscrollsaw.com
