  1. The scrolling world can always use 2 to pick from.
  2. Nice looking projects Dick!
  3. I think they're cool.
  4. That looks fantastic! I betting epoxy will step it up a notch!
  5. Well, I also have a scrap shelf. I have a fire pit on my patio so when the grandkids want S’mores I usually lose some scrap.
  6. It was in my scrap drawer but I’m pretty sure it is walnut.
  7. My wife gets angry if you don’t use a coaster. You wouldn’t like her when she’s angry. (Hulk joke)
  8. I once thought I had a solid oak entertainment center. Nope. Oak veneer over MDF.
  9. Welcome from Alabama, USA.
  10. Barbara, if your machine is your place of peace, then you are definitely doing it right! I feel the same way.
  11. Thank you. This piece did feel like it had an up/down, left/right to me.
  12. Graham Greene and Kevin Costner as Kicking Bird and John Dunbar from Dances With Wolves. One of my favorite movies and one of the most beautiful scenic movies I've seen. Can't believe it's almost 32 years old. 1/2" Red Oak with a light stain, about 9" by 11" cut with FDUR#1. Not my pattern, I bought it on Etsy.
  13. Great job on those! The lights look cool. I've cut on hardwood so much I probably couldn't control a piece of thin plywood. All in what you get used to I suppose.
  14. Nice job, and good verse.
  15. Beautiful job!
  16. I think they're cool Danny! Maybe you could use them to wish people would be kind. Good job.
  17. Beautiful work on all of those!
  18. Beautiful piece of wood and great job cutting a cool pattern!
  19. Excellent work!
  20. Very nice! Any biker would love one.
  21. Thank you. Dr Ford is such a nice “small town” vet and has saved us hundreds of dollars through the years. It’s past time I returned the favor. Felix Ano Nuevo!!!
  22. Great job! I'm 61 and I still love playing with magnets!
  23. Nice job and very jealous of the outdoor fireplace!
  24. ***My OCD won. I went back to the shop and hunted through all the wood chips on the floor and fond the broken piece of the F and epoxied it back on. *** We have a great vet and he just got a new partner so I made them a welcome sign. I won’t call attention to the piece that fell out of the F.
  25. Loved this pattern and wanted a piece of wood with some character to cut it on. Looked through all my bits and pieces and found this piece of oak with a live edge. It's about 5" X 7". I know some don't like this much coloration on a portrait and I get it. Personally I see it more as the piece as a whole coming together to make an art piece. Kind of like how Mt. Rushmore might have been a bit more polished cut from a square piece of granite, but wouldn't have been nearly as majestic. No right and wrong, just different views. Happy New Year everyone! H Botas pattern available here. https://www.etsy.com/listing/869966491/jesus?click_key=394d54e4281a09de4f5f2b794a437927d62c7156%3A869966491&click_sum=b00911b6&ref=shop_home_recs_1
