Thank you. I had a print of Starry Night that I didn't like much because it didn't show the whole painting so I used part of it for the backer. Worked out well since I didn't like it before and now it makes me smile!
I'll second all the compliments above! Hard to pick a favorite part of this one. The wood, the cutting, the pattern, the frame are all top shelf. Cool piece of art!
Thanks Danny. I've never done Ham Radio. I suspect I would love it. When I was a teen, I lived in a very small town and CB radios were big with the young people. I had one in my car that I could also bring into my bedroom. Very fond memories of those times. I think it was more fun than Facebook or Twitter.
Big thanks to @WayneMahler for his help on this pattern. A friend's father's health is declining so they are moving his radio from his barn to his home and wanted a wall sign for his new "Shack". It's about 11" X 13" X 5/8" red oak.
Oh wow Dave. Your boxes belong in a jewelry store or something. At the same time this one reminds me of the old video game Q-bert. Like Frank, I wondered if this is from an available pattern. Wouldn't be surprised if you designed it though.
No, I haven't watched it recently. I haven't seen any episodes with the female Dr. I have mostly only watched it in reruns, but while it was on Netflix I watched through several seasons. I'd say it's an acquired taste.
Just wondered if any Dr. Who fans on here know what this creature in the middle is, and why for safety reasons, I placed it here.
*This was my first cutting since hearing about Les. I know he'll be thought of often and by many as I did while at my saw.
Honestly I guess it may be a tie for me between Matt and David. I have a hard time picking a favorite between Clara Oswald and Amy Pond as my favorite companions also. I was ready to start watching them again and sadly they're not streaming for free on anything we have access to anymore.
Great job. I like dogs but having worked as a service mechanic for Alabama's natural gas utility I had a few try to have me for a snack. A Rottweiler and a German Shepherd are on the list. I know they're not all the same but it still comes to mind. Very nice cutting and great pattern!
Hi Merlin. I included a link to the pattern on the post of the David Tennant one. I don't have a pattern for this one. I used an image I found on Google. I think I searched Matt Smith black and white.
