  1. Just saw this post Les. So sorry to hear it. Praying for you and your wife. Hope you get a more good natured nurse soon.
  2. Left to right Mr T as Clubber Lang and Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa.
  3. I did a quick little fun cutting in honor of my new shop plant, Adrian.
  4. Here's something about him from Google. Banksy is a street artist whose works have appeared all over the world, and sold for millions at various auctions. Banksy's identity has never been confirmed by the artist, and his work is usually shrouded in mystery. Once artworks appear, Banksy usually lays claim to them via his official Instagram page. His works often focus on topical societal issues, and make strong political statements. As for understanding it, I'm sure it's different for everyone. For me this one speaks of reacting to conflict peacefully. The fact that he is wearing a mask, for me, just made it appropriate for the current controversy.
  5. Hi Don. Nobody was interested in it, or didn't want to admit it, so I took the post down rather than seem like I was begging someone to take it. If your daughter would like it I'd gladly mail it to her. I thought it would be a positive piece for a school setting. Just let me know.
  6. Whole lot of ugly going on around these parts, Alabama, about face masks. ***Please don't state your opinion, for or against, on them as this isn't the place and nobody really cares what you or I think about it. I think this Banksy art is a fitting response to the issue so I cut it and am offering it on Facebook to any teacher facing the battle on the front lines.
  7. Made from some images I found on Google. My grandson and son-in-law love this movie. It'll be on my shop wall for now but I've started adding names on the back for who gets them when I kick the bucket. Which reminds me. Know what my Grandfather said right before he kicked the bucket? "Watch how far I can kick this bucket!"
  8. Those are beautiful Les! I know they will love them!
  9. Thanks. Yes, it's red oak planed to around 1/2". My favorite wood and thickness to scroll. I used a FDUR#1.
  10. Thanks. I agree it's a wonderful pattern. They did a great job putting in just enough detail, but leaving the right amount to your imagination as well. I don't have that skill.
  11. Thanks Les. It's in the pattern library under scenic. It's called Sunday Prayers.
  12. This reminds me of a couple of churches my daddy pastored. I enjoyed cutting this pattern by @Whitley WoodWorks

  20. Nice job! Very clean cutting!
  21. Nice job! I love watching Kingfishers. My father-in-law has a home in the country with a couple of ponds. Very common to see them there. He's not fond of them since they eat his fish.
  22. Nice job, and thoughtful gift!
  23. Nice job on everything!
  24. Very cool.
  25. Beautiful job Frank. I too like red oak. I know it's not very exotic but neither am I.
