Hi , village scrollers iam a newbie scroller , and just wondering what blades sizes do you use for puzzles , and also for portrait pictures , as I have never tried puzzles or portrait pictures . Also what finshes you use? . On any projects that I have done so far I have used Danish oil . Also in future would like to design own drawings , how do I go about doing this ?. I have a Apple Mac pc? Sorry for many questions ! Cheers buff pekin

Nice to have someone bit more local that does scroll saw as a hobby. Not been in my shed for a couple weeks as not been well and signed off work . Hi scrollers just the village scrollers , I live in the uk , England , Sheffield , being scrolling about 3 months , uusually do internal cutting patterns , from Steve good web site , I have 21 inch Axminster trade scroll saw bought second hand from e - bay and also a very old two speed delta scroll . Steves is a a amazing scroll saw site , and I don't know how he turns out so many patterns per week , just keep donate to keep is site going , Iam just starting on scroll saw journey , but thre so many different areas of different scrolling . Just in the uk hard wood is so pricey and not ideal of choice , have to go skip s and second hand timber , but more enjoyable when you make something .
