hi guys, just wanted to thank you for accepting my new email address!! along with my new address i will try to be a new me....keeping my messages on topic which is scroll sawing and to make them shorter..... again thanks

lol yes keven things could most defently be worse... i have seen several neurolgest.... and have taken imatrex as well as a ton of other proventive medacatiions.... also went to a caroprater which helped for awhile... and we have tried dozens of pain meds ... also went to the msu migrine and pain clinic....but they dont take medacare/medacade...so they just sent us home.... the last nuro dr we saw sent us to kallamazoo to see if the bowtox would help...we started that last sept...and until recently it was a merical....i had forgotten what it felt like to be pain free... we are hoping that since my last appoment was set like 3 weeks faruther then it was suppose to be plus the ever changing weather is why iv been having so much trouble lately. i go back for more shots in dec... but hoping with the weather settleing down so will my head. lol if you can control the pain with out the bowtox shots i would most defently not get the shots....they hurt like hot bee stings...and i get 33 of them in my head face and neck....its different for every person you describ where the pain is and showthem if you can and then you get the number of shots you need in the plces you need to sort of deaden those nerves.... today has been a good day...the weather is finally beginning to settle down some and iv only had to take one pain pill today...things are looking up!!! i was cutting out some compound cut patterns before things went kazooy....i hope to start doing more of them tomarrow....as well find a regular scroll saw pattern or two to work on.... OH !! and spike has been working on the cnc machine as we now have it wired right ( thank you u tube!! the instructions we downloaded had the wireing set up wrong....spike fixed it the way they had it on u tube....and low and behold it started working!!! he even got the spindle to move.... he will search more u tube tomarrow and see what we should do next.... im afraid i got people upset on the sight for my machine....they had some trouble figureing out what i was asking and then i wasnt posting properly i think i made one person really mad because he used the f word and told me to go to the files and read the beggner posts.... i was doing that just not really understanding what i was reading... i hope spike can figure things out now with the u tube....im not sure i can go back to the facebook sight.... its nobodys fault... everyone was very nice....and paticent for a long time....and asides from just one person who yelled and used the f word they were very kind about telling me what i was doing wrong..... im still be welcomed there just have to learn better ways to ask my questions better and with fewer words... will just have to fight the anxity and panic my body has nowdecided to have about that sight.... like i said nobodys fault they were very nice and one person gave me some suggestions as to how to ask my questions.... i know my socol skills are lacking if i drive you guys nutts please let me know and i will try to do better here too... maybe i can find a u tube that teaches you how to talk to people and ask questions.... well best get of here before my head decideds to attack again and again thank you for all your suggestions!!!

didn't just want to fall off the face of the earth on you guys....as you know iv been getting botox shots for my cronic migrines, headaces, sinis headaces... and various cluster headaces..its been working real good but this past couple of weeks iv started getting mild headaces again....im afraid my body is starting to build up a resistencet to the botox shots..... the pain isnt as bad as it wa when i first started taking the shots so far....but im having the headaces more and more often now and each one seems to be a ittle worse the last one and they are lasting longer and longer....the over the counter pain meds like asprin and tyonal arent as effective as they were before either...I had to take a perscription pain pill this evening and although the pain his died down some it hasnt taken the pain away....so im trying not to get on the computer to often and when i am on i try to do what ever i have to do quickly and then get off...and im working on the crafts less and for not as long as a time to try to hold things off a bit. .spike says not to be so worried and concerned and afraid that the botox is starting to become inefective because i always have trouble when the weather is changing...espicaly whe we have drastic changes i barametric prusser....and this past week or so the weather here has been all over the place...so thats proubly why im starting to get the headaces and that the botox is still working because the headaces arent as bad.... i hope hes right...i pray he s right..i dont kow if i can go thorugh the non sstop constet 10+ pain 24 hours a day 7days a week again... thats why i havent been in much to look at everbodys projects and tell you how great they are.... and like i said im not working on my stuff as much either....im going to see if spike can load candle onto the computer for me so that hopefuly a little at a time i can try to learn it enough to put other peoples patterns in to and let the cnc maching make things when i cant thats why i got it..... i hope spike is right and im lettinng my anxity get to me and things will be better once the temputer and the weather settle down some.... please pray with and for me that the bowtox shots are still working and once the weather settles down i'll feel better.. thanks

i agree with everyone else its simply beautiful!!! and i love the lights!! there must be some way to try to clean up the wires a bit.....but all i can think of is buying a smaller set of lights but not sure it would look as good in the front that way.....humm maybe make some kind of covering for the back that can be opened and closed?

they look great to me!!! i would never have known you had to the glue the unicorn if you hadnt told us... and as a grandparent i really love the second one!! lol im going to have to call my son to see when he can bring my grandson down again.....i told his parents that i would like them to bring him down more often between now and christmas because i want to start him working on the scroll saw i got him for christmas....it will be set up in my wood shop and he wont know its his saw till christmas....so far hes only used a scroll saw once in his life and since his parents dont scroll i want him to be comfortable with scrolling before he has his own at home....his parents will supervise him when he uses it ( one of the rules on the list of rules im going to print out for him) but they dont know anything about scroll sawing....my son watched me scroll as he was growing up but that was some 50 on years ago. lol i will go through with them how to change the plade and such but i will no doupt get more calls from them after connor has his saw home and set up....im trying to go through my patterns now to find beginner patterns for him but now see im off topic AGAIN!!1

ok heres an example of a 3 cut compound cut pattern ... and i need to get off and see if i can install candle on to this computer....if everything works out ok i might be able to make my first cnc project soon!!! lol

thanks lol and yes i will take a picture of the few 3 sided compound cut patterns i have.....there arent to many of them ... if i remember correctly i do the 2 sides first and then the end peice..... i think im going to dig out a couple of my other compound cut books and see if they have the instructions for these.....to make things easer for me i scanned most of my patterns into the computer and put them on jump drives .... you have to remember even though my projects dont really show it iv been scrolling for a little over 40 years i think, and the patterns and books and such were taking up so much room!! lol and itd take me hours to find a pattern i wanted to make....it still takes me hours sometimes but its a lot easer to sit with the computer then a ton of magazines on my lap and on the floor and table lol as i put the ones iv already looked through into different piles and then another pile or two of magazines that i found patterns i also decided to make while looking for the pattern im looking for if that makes any sense lol then spike got a big gray tub and put the books and some of the magazines in them and put them in his closit so i can get to them when i need to lol....i havent told him yet that i suggested to my children they get me a subscription to the carving magazine... lol i''ll have to find a place to put them when i get them as all my sewing and crochet patterns is taking up most of the space in our inclosed frount pourch.... it looks like just another room but it dosnt have heat. lol well let me go take thos pictures and grab another cup of coffee lol

Hi guys, iv mentiond that im doing a lot of compound cutting these days....and that my youngets daughter asked me to send her some holiday decorations that i make....for most holidays this isnt a problem and id like to make her a couple of compound cut secines halloween, christmas, valinties day really most of the holidays i have compound cut patterns but for thanksgiving the only compound cut pattern i have or can find is a turkey....could any one make patterns of compound cut pilgrams and indians? or anything thanksgiving ?

Sometimes getting old can be a real pain in the bottom! my youngest daughter asked me if id send her some of holiday ornments i make for her house in maryland....and of course i thought this was a great idea! and while im at it i'll make one for me ad one for the stock boxes...of each pattern....now i KNOW i have cut 3 sided compound cut patterns before but i'll be darned if i can remember how i did it....the pictures only show how to wrap the pattern on the wood...the 2 side pieces on the long side and then the other one on the end...im pretty sure thats how it gos...with only the 2 sides it really dosnt make that much difference which you cut first but with the 3 sides it might....i tryied doing a search on how to cut 3 sided compound cut patterns but i just get vidos on cutting 2 sided cuts.... the same in my books....its been awhile since iv done a lot of compound cutting even though those are my favorite things to do... my question is do you cut the end piece first and then the 2 sides or do you cut the 2 side first and the end piece? i have several compound cuts im going to do and a couple layered snakes to make for the stock boxes...im going to try to turn them into some kind of containerr ..maybe put a small jar or something in the center so they can hold things or maybe turn them into the flower holders you use test tubes with ...we'll see but first i have to get them made! lol i have also been doing a lot of trying to get the programs i need for the cnc machine to work...i finally got rid of carbin create because i just couldnt get it to work but some one suggested easle and i love it!!! its so easy for the most part...spike is off to find some dry lube...and some time today i have install candle...so much to do and so little tiem!! lol i can never get everything done on my list of things to do lol well id best get busy if im going to get anything done !!

LOVE IT!!! i used to go fishing with my big brother in the lakes and streams around here...nothing big like that!! trout is what we got....i told my parents brother and x husband i'll catche em i'll clean em and i'll cook em BUT I WONT EAT THEM!!! lol you did a great job on that

lol i wouldnt be surprised lol most people including spike get nervious when they try to watch me do anything!! im a retired restrant cook and EVERY body i know gets nervious if there in the kitchen when im cooking lol they all however run to the kitchen when im done lol same in the woodshop.....evedently i dont always us the right tool for the right job and i often dont use the tool correctly... yet i still seem to get things done and i still have all my digets lol right now im taking a break from the cnc stuff....im hoping to get an answer to my question on carbin create from there sight....if not spike said hed call the support number again tomarrow and hopefuly someoe will answer our call before he decides hes not going to sit all day waiting for them to get around to him....sometimes i wish i could do these things myself...it would proubly be faster but since i cant i learn to waite

lol yea well dont hold your breath....i dont have my partner in pattern making it s going to take a LOT of trail and error.....it sounds at least to me doable...but that dosnt nessarly mean i can figure out how to do it. lol
