  1. The dark one Is poplar with a dark walnut stain, The oblong ones are Poplar and I don't know what the base wood is. It is a mystery wood that I found in my father-in-laws shop. The orangish one is a red oak.

Your Granddaughter will appreciate those for years.
  3. One of the most beautiful ladies ever made. I saw her in 1989 Concord Pavillion in California.
  4. I need to cut that one.
  5. Great job, Those are neat!
  6. That was a fun one and my first try at something not round or oval.
  7. Here re my latest bowls. The odd shaped one is a Steve Good Patter. The others are patterns that I did on the computer. The orangesh oak bowl is the finest bowl I have ever made and my favorite so far. All the angles turned out great and there was very minimal sanding.
  8. That looks like some fragile cutting!
  9. Thats a good one. I love the different woods.
  10. You have the best wood choices for your pieces!
  11. Love the wood choice.
  12. Those are neat. I have only done one layered project.

Great job. I love live edge stuff.
  21. That is a great bowl. They are probably my favorite thing to make.
  22. It is super old red oak from the property that I live on. All the rest is Poplar.
  23. My Brother that moved to Mississippi from Denver 4 months ago decided it was finally time to get a job. My Brother has always been some sort of Iron Worker. He spent the last MANY MANY years being a CWI (Certified Welding Inspector). He decided to slow things down a bit and get a job that he would enjoy more. He got a job at a Cabinet Shop that I get a lot of scrap wood from. I decided to make him a HandyMans toolbox to carry his special tools in (He has a bunch). I hope he enjoys it.
  24. That is super neat. My brother and I made a jig for 1/2 inch. I think I would like to try to make that one. It looks good and simple.
  25. I am trying to learn to make some nicer things other than on the scroll saw. My Brother Barry is a fine box maker, so I tried to make a nice box. I have been getting some nicer tools and trying to make things the right way instead of just throwing them together. This box is made of Alder which as you can see I used finger joints. The box top is made of oak and walnut. The dowels I used to attach the top are walnut.
