Due to some hand swelling and all around pain, I haven't been able to scroll saw much. But, with an hour here and there I finally got this guy cut out and I'm trying to decides a backer board. I want to use this piece shown with the raw edges cleaned up and a little shaping on the straight edge side. Plan to cut it in an oval shape. I kind of like the one that is tilted and I am leaning in that direction. Wanted to get your thoughts on which one you like best - out of curiosity. Haven't decided if I will paint the cross or leave it natural. Thanks for your feedback!! P.S. this pattern was hard to cut out.....

I do not have an actual photo of Baily Dog. I just remember he was an old boy, friendly and little over weight. The friend, Doug, said he didn't have a photo handy so I'm trying to wing it. This is a photo I was playing with Labrador head tilt2.pdf
