  1. You take reclaimed wood and make it beautiful. Very good Luis.
  2. Kevin, do you scroll in different locations? Like at a customers store? Tire Store?
  3. Will you please change your title from "ZEN SCROLLER" to Amazing
  4. Very nice of you Kevin. You're like a robot and an assembly line all in one. You just 'spit' them out. I do one, you do ten............................AMAZING
  5. Of course they are well done Kevin. Did she tell you where she will display them?
  6. Wow, beat me to Russell's cross. I just started it. Yes, your choice of wood is excellent. I like the Christ scroll you did, perfect.
  7. You make me want to cut them. Beautiful boxes
  8. I want to suggest a couple easy but very satisfying patterns to cut. Search the Village patterns and be sure to check out Steve Good's site. 1) Crosses Crosses are a teacher. There are easy, medium and hard ones. 2) Bowls One piece of wood. Just cut in a circle. Most are very easy and all look good when finished. Teach you blade selection and cutting curves.
  9. I like looking.......Looks like you are doing quite well. Just don't make it a 'JOB'
  10. Thank you for showing your work and it does look quite good.
  11. Yes it is very nice.
  12. I am going to say, 'Don't use junk wood! If you 'practice' and it turns out nice, have it turn out nice on a good piece of wood.' To me, "There is no practice wood." That said, boxes and pallets are still a good source of wood. Just clean it up, make it look nice so that when you finish cutting a scroll piece on the wood, it will be nice enough that you would give it to your spouse.
  13. "No Strings Attached" glue. Sounds Oximoron.
  14. Welcome Ray. Clayton answered your question on posting and soon Kevin will be along to tell you where to get a scroll saw in Florida. Meantime, tour the Village and participate in our chats. Oh, the more old guys the better.......
  15. I use it, but I understand Ike
  16. Click here: Hot Melt Adhesive Application Glossary Compiled by Nordson Adhesive Systems Angel Hair - Fine threads of adhesive caused by incomplete transfer of the adhesive mass from applicator to substrate, followed by elongation of the connecting bridges. May be caused by improper nozzle shutoff with a high viscosity adhesive. Stringing - A defect in adhesive application characterized by hair–like fibers of adhesive emanating from the trailing edge of the bead. Stringing may produce continuous fibers attached to the nozzle. It is most often caused by the gun temperature being too cold.
  17. Kevin, How nice. That's 'touching'. You have a big heart. God bless!
  18. I have no answer, but I am going to follow and see if someone does.
  19. I like the Shellac, it almost looks real. Of course the rest looks great also!
  20. Beautiful... that is really nice.
  21. Great! Tell me what was there to install? Mount to ceiling and plug in. Or was there more to it?
  22. Very well done Hans
  23. It is nice looking. Another suprise piece of work.
  24. Dan, those are nice enough to become a blizzard.
