  2. Very nice, good cutting, nice background. I like it. I use spray laquer but there are many others that work well also. You should get other replies but the best results come from patience.
  3. Really pleased you joined. THere is so much here to learn. Yes, scrollsawing, pattern making, intarsia and much, much more. Your Craftsman will cut the same patterns the other saws cut. Show us some of your work and... and... where is the USA are you?

  5. Cheers to all the Pattern Makers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to all the Pattern Makers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Splinters, kickbacks and close calls but nothing major in the workshop. I did do a stupid with my lawn mower years ago. Mowing the lawn, the chute got clogged. Sitting on the mower, still running and mower on, I bent down and stuck my hand in to pull the grass out. It felt like I could count the times the blades hit the tip of my middle finger. Lost the tip, bled a lot but no handicap. Stupid is as stupid does.

  9. I'm impressed. Kitty and birds looks delicate. How did you do it, what type wood? The giraffe is also a nice one. You have done a job as good as anyone on both. Thank you for showing them.
  10. Save that sawdust, it's a classic. I like your dolphins, very nice job.
  11. Your upper set screw (on the left side) is not flush or it is slightly rounded. Remove it and check it for flatness. File or sand flat if necessary. Check thumb screw clamp also. Apply 'Napa medium strength BLUE screw lock tight to the threads. Screw it in until it is flush. You might want to do the bottom one also. Sanding blade, may help some but IMHO, not necessary.
  12. That sign is like Grandma's cooking. It's the best. That's a sign to like.
