Great work. My wife and I have some walking sticks. I think I have 18 all made from Osage orange and contorted hazelnut. They all sit in a big bucket now. A few I made for a friend. Doing that is a great idea.

I’d really like to see your work. I’ve made a bunch of canes and walking sticks but have never tried carving or scrolling on them. I have seen pictures. I’ve used Osage orange ( hedge apple ), it’s very hard wood, and contorted hazelnut. I mainly did them to take with us when we go hiking and made a few for a friend that needed one.

Nice work. I would love to see the models you converted to wood. The prices I recently saw for the plastic models really shocked me. They were a couple dollars when I was young, not now for sure.

I usually copy from the book, magazines I cut it out. I've ran into the same problem when I print from the book. Nice cutting too!
