  18. Thanks Don for doing the pattern for me. I did this for a friend at work for a relatives wedding. I used a #3 skip tooth,3/4” oak and a semi gloss poly. I really like the piece of oak. I had it stacked in the garage for about two years. I have about four more feet of it. That is white oak correct? I usually can only get red oak. I got this from my brother. Thanks for looking.
  19. I talked to him again. He got it working and said it ran good. It is variable speed. He’s not sure but doesn’t think it was used much. It’s pretty old and is gonna get info from the company. He got it and other tools at an auction out in West Virginia today. I told him about SSV and how helpful everyone is, and how much he can learn here. Thanks everyone for helping.
  20. He just bought it and got it for $80. Not a major loss even if it ends up not working.
  21. Thank you I’ll pass it on to my brother.
  22. My brother is thinking about buying this at an auction. Can anyone tell me how it looks, what shape it's in? He says the folks who had it didn't use it much. How old is this one? How much would you ask for it if it could be cleaned up and worked ok. Thanks for any input.
