tomsteve Posted December 15, 2015 Report Posted December 15, 2015 (edited) just gotta trim and make a frame. 1/8" bb. ive been stack cutting 4-1/8" for portraits for a bit now but think im gonna go back to 1/4"". seems more difficult and blade life is shortened, which im thinkin might be due to more plys with glue. ill never do this one again !!! until the next time! Scrappile Posted January 11, 2016 Report Posted January 11, 2016 Looked this post up because I was thinking I read someone was searching for the pattern. After rereading I don't see that, but if someone is it is available here: http://www.scrolleronline.com/product/8478/363 I ordered one. Don't know when I will try it, but I have a weakness for scroll saw patterns, like my wife has a weakness for quilting patterns and material! Quote
Dan Posted January 11, 2016 Report Posted January 11, 2016 Great project. That will look even better when you frame it. Quote
penquin Posted January 11, 2016 Report Posted January 11, 2016 Lot of work in that one. Looks super. Well done. Thanks a bunch for showing it to us. jim penquin Quote
heppnerguy Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 One of the most amazing scrolling pieces I remember seeing. This one is so well done and so detailed. When I first saw it, I just knew it would be a pattern that would make Paul's mouth water, and sure enough it did. I have to say it scares me a little but if I keep up with the spiral cutting and get better at it, I just might take a wack at it, if I live long enough to acquire enough skill to do it.
