I didn't realize how worn the old Mac Mop was until I got the new one.  That is almost ten years of sanding on almost every project.  A great investment.

i have a couple of them and love them.very gentle to fragile fret work too!

I have the one Klingspor sells

I really like it, use it a lot.  I'm wondering if the Mac Mop works better or is it for different uses?  And what is the best grit to buy?

I have three in different grits and like them all. I just hope I live long enough to wear them out.

Well I ordered a Mac Mop after reading this thread.  It came, I used it, I love it.  I love it so much I ordered another grit, and may add another next month.

I also ordered one because of this--but I have to get all the spring yard work done before I really test it.  If I remember, I think I ordered the 320.

I bought one maybe 6 yrs ago. Never could get it to work. Don't know what I did wrong. Went with a 3M sanding wheel. A little over $7 a pop and i can sand about $1500 worth of puzzles.
