  1. I started using shelf liner about 7 months ago. Solved a lot of little problems. It seems the cheapest I can get works the best, holds the pattern and removes easy, I pick it up at a local dollar store. I would stay away from clear, my old eyes can't see it sometimes
  2. All good advice, and if she likes it I think what she cuts the first time is not that important.with your help the learning curve should be easy.

  9. I also copied Roff ( more or less) with my aids off the shop vac is fine. I used 3/4 pipe and just drilled holes on the suction end put some nails across the end to block the chips. Most importantly it works Not 100% bit I can live 90
  10. Kris , I may have missed read your post. Is it the wood that bucks or the saw ? If it's the saw then something is way wrong.
  11. You did great job, I had not seen this one , I like it
  12. First WELCOME My only thought is to make sure your blade is tight, and stays that way. You are getting that " ping" when you set the tension, right. Also make sure table is level and blade is at 90 deg. Good luck
  13. Really easy to look at. Great job !
  14. Elegant is the first word to come to mind. Very will done.
  15. A great job on pattern and cutting For some reason I just could not " see" it on my phone, but on a big screen it jumped out. Very nice.
  16. Fantastic job, looks a lot of love went into making it, thanks for sharing.
  17. Very nice shop, looks like it's well set up, for me the wood planner is the biggest mess maker I take it out side most times. Must be nice to have a dust free shop, could never get it done.
  18. I don't know if I want to blame Iggy but I have cut 5 since I watched his video. Second thought -$"'(-'$"+!
  19. Around here (south Tx.) the Dollar Stores have it
  20. Congratulations on the new saw now maybe you can get more saw time and less repair time
  21. A little bit of glue on the edge's works for me.but I don't do much stack cutting anyway.
  22. I don't know about the blades but got a good laugh out of your picture. If that's your worst cut I got you beat
  23. Never heard of it, but I will try it .
  24. 20 + years and the only injury was when I step on a broken blade, went through my soft shoe and stuck in my foot. Does that count as a saw injury ?
  25. Maybe a used one off eBay ?
