  1. I use spray glue to hold patterns but I was wondering what I could use for smaller patterns. The spray puts our a lot plus turning upside down is just a waste and a messy. I could put tape first then use white glue or whatever. Just want something you brush on or spread with a finger right on the wood.
  2. Very nice work, and using 3/4 oak a lot of slow cutting work..thanks for sharing
  3. Very nice . The work & the sentiment
  4. I would go with the smallest blade & bit drill on the line and the hole will almost disappear. If your perfectionist will.. make 2 holes were the hinges would be cut out the door.
  5. It always helps to add a little humor to your day. Some times people want to refinish themselves, sometimes they think there getting a super deal.. you just keep up the good work ..
  6. Try to relax a little, but I know venting does help a little. As far as the wife not listening ? Do they ever
  7. A big part of scrolling for a lot of us is just the fun of doing. The saw is a tool, you do well to use the best you can afford. With practice and time you will solve your problems, but in this case a better tool will eliminate most and increase fun. you may not be doing anything wrong you work with what you have....but there is a better way

  15. Delta and Dewalt, in my opinion your paying for the yellow paint, both are good saws new, if I were buying used the upper end saws can be had in good condition if you look around and I think there built better, cut better, last longer, and just as easy to repair.also what you intend to do makes a difference..hobby, work, as for size I would stay as close to 20 as I could but would not turn down a good 14..that's still over 2 foot cut to center. Well just thoughts. You seem to have the funds, if you don't rush you should end up happy
