Dave Monk Posted June 18, 2021 Report Posted June 18, 2021 I've made a lot of these name puzzles. I usually set my saw at a 4 degree angle so the letters go in easier. This is the font I use so I don't have to worry about islands. smitty0312, wombatie, Dak0ta52 and 6 others 9 Quote

barb.j.enders Posted June 20, 2021 Report Posted June 20, 2021 Very nice clean work. I have done 4 of them now. I like the font called Sniglet from Dafont.com. I also paint the backer letter space the same colour as the letters. This is one of the four that I have done. TexasDIY, Dave Monk and smitty0312 3 Quote

I've made a few but hadn't thought about cutting on an angle and will be doing that from now one. It can be pretty tedious even for a grown up putting the letters in. Do you know the name of this font? I searched for Word Art and didn't come up with anything. Edited June 21, 2021 by Charlie E smitty0312 1 Quote

don in brooklin on Posted August 11, 2021 Report Posted August 11, 2021 I know this is an older post but I would like to know what you use for paint. Is it approved as child safe? I have used vegetable dye but it is not bright. Thanks smitty0312 1 Quote
FrankEV Posted August 11, 2021 Report Posted August 11, 2021 I beleive any good quality brand of a gloss enamel is considered safe for children these day since lead is no longer use in paints. A good primer and then paint with multiple coats will give a hard, safe mouthable coating. Laike anything else, reading the lable is always a good I dea. smitty0312 1 Quote
