Went to a local Farmers' Market on Sunday from 9-1.  Sold a few things.  Still, it's encouraging and a way to feed the SS addic, er, . . . hobby 😉
I did try cutting a couple books out, making them into "Book Safes" or as I like to call them: "stash books."
Steve Good has a video on his website not too long ago with a woman showing how to do make them.
I wasn't ready to part with any of my books, so visited my library; they sell used donated books also, so picked up a couple for cheap.
Even with using a couple #12 blades, it took about 40 minutes to cut thru the 700 pages of one book.
But they turned out OK and best of all - they sold.
Now, on to a copyright/trademark question.
One customer, an Eagles football fan, asked me if I could make him something with their logo.
I told him I'd check on that, as I don't know the legalities surrounding their logo.  I've seen stories on the news of people getting busted for selling fake football shirts at the beach, and I'd like to stay on the right side of the law.
So, looking for any advice on this you'd care to share.

Congrats on the sales! I might have to check out that book / box thing.. sounds interesting. My wife likes to read books though so I guess if I hid money there I'd most likely get caught.. I'll continue hiding it in the cars fuse panel box.. 😂  I'm just joking, I've never had any money to hide, and no reason to hide it if I did have.

@Joe W.

Legally no you can not make and sell anything with a trademarked logo.
But making something as a one off, while still illegal, is something I do.  I doubt that any large organization, assuming they actually found out about it, will respond with anything more than a cease and desist letter from their lawyers. Those horror stories you near about are about folks who mass produce products and sell them.

I have yet to receive a cease and desist letter, but if I did, then I would frame it.  What a conversation starter!

Went back yesterday for another try at the Farmers' Market and did much better.
For what it's worth, the Steve Good patterns: Dice Tower, Penny Drop game, and 12 stackable acrobats did well again.
Most customers commented they were buying them as a future present for their children/grandchildren.
And now, . . . back to the garage.
