Two truths and a Lie

So when I filled out my profile when I joined Scroll Saw Village I filled in the section titled "Two truths and a Lie"   How does one find others "Two truths and a Lie"?  Here are mine if someone wants to guess the lie:

• Two Truths & A Lie:
  1. I can run under a 7 minute mile
  2. My brother won the Heisman 
  3. I was grand champion in the Montana State Fair for fine art

  Maybe others could post their Truths and lie since I don't know where to find them....mc

I don't remember what my truths & lie were but I will go back & look.  Just looked - didn't complete it.  Guess I should do that!

I am guessing #1 is your lie!!

Barb, You are correct!  I had hip surgery in November so running is out for me....     Have a wonderful day!  mc

I've noticed over the years that many villagers have not completed their profile form. That things that I look for most is first name rather than I.D. and location. Even thiugh I go by Octoolguy everybody can see by my signature that my name is Ray. I like knowing who I am reading about and where they are located. It can be helpful when answering questions. JMHO.

Nope. After a career in law enforcement I still don't drink coffee. However, give me a nice, cold glass of iced tea!!!

Me too!  I love ice tea.  I like the taste of coffee but it doesn't like me...so tea it is

I used to love running/jogging until my 5th neck surgery. That was about 40 pounds ago.  I'm not much of a football fan, but who is your brother? That's great!

I used to run, not well but I did complete a 1/2 marathon.  Had to stop when I got arthritis in the toe.

Wow, 5 neck surgeries!  Did you have car accidents?   My brother is Terry Baker.  I was at the end of the line of a long line of Bakers.  He is quite a bit older than me

I am sorry to hear about your toe. Wow, 1/2 marathon...good for you!  I had a marathoning friend who had arthritis on both big toes.  She had surgery on them  and is back to running at 70+.   I am at least able to walk pretty fast and cross country ski.

No car accident. Just degenerative discs. All the discs in my neck are now fused. I have to take a lot of breaks from the saw. Small thing to complain about though compared to so many. I really do miss running though. My son does 100 milers and 24 hour runs. Crazy stuff.

Another "truth" about @MarieC is she may be just starting with the scroll saw, but she is a very accomplished woodworker and upholsterer.  She is a lady of many talents.

Awww, thank you!  I am so excited about scroll sawing...I sometimes wake up thinking about the next project and how I want it to work....
