Charlie E Posted July 27, 2023 Report Posted July 27, 2023 (edited) My son and daughter-in-law recently adopted twins, brother and sister, from Haiti. It's been a looooooong process. So now I'm up to 5 grandkids and they all live close by. We get together every week for swim night. Last night was Shark Week night so I made 18 wooden shark fins and hid them around about a 1 mile area of out neighbor hood and we hunted them on golf carts. (In their new matching "cousin" pajamas. ) When we got close to one I played the Jaws theme music on a bluetooth speaker. I am one blessed, lucky, happy Pop!!! You are so blessed and more importantly they are all blessed to have such a thoughtful loving Grandpa. Many, many happy memories in the making. As luck would have it Steve Good posted a Shark pattern this morning. Might be worth taking a look at. Charlie E and danny 1 1 Quote

The oldest one spent the night with me Thursday. It started to rain just as it was getting dark and he asked if we could go “rain swimming.” I didn’t really want to but gave in. It was magical in the warm pool water with the chilly rain. I realized it could possibly be the last chance we get to do that and how easily I could have missed it. So important to live in the moment. wombatie, danny, ChelCass and 1 other 4 Quote
