Popular Post Aggie Posted April 15 Popular Post Report Posted April 15 (edited) Well I did my 1st craft show Saturday. It wasn't to bad I walked away with 3 hundreds my pocket after paying for the stand. I guess that's not bad for a small town. JimNC Posted April 16 Report Posted April 16 Nice display, good work. We too live in a small town, 25,000 pop. city, 125,000 total county and a $300 show is about average for us. We just moved here 5 yrs. ago. OCtoolguy and Aggie 1 1 Quote

Good luck on the second. Hi barb I wanted to have a lot of different items. The only thing I had cut was the portrait of the Indian when I signed up for the show at the beginning of February. I started to get the stand up puzzles from WoodcraftByScott and patterns from Steve Goods and worked my butt off. barb.j.enders and OCtoolguy 2 Quote

How quickly did the pictures sell, how many more could you have sold if you had more? And, yes, we have to use the "shotgun" approach to find what sells in a particular market. Hi I sold one even before the show opened to another vendor and the last one about 1 hour before the show closed. I think if I had more I could have sold more I had a lot of people interested in them. OCtoolguy and barb.j.enders 2 Quote
OCtoolguy Posted April 18 Report Posted April 18 How did you arrive at your pricing? That's always given me pause. I always look at something and ask myself how much I'd pay for the item. I'm a tough sell so that stops me from selling my stuff. Maybe I'm selling myself short. Hmmmm! Aggie 1 Quote

Hmmmm! what i did was to check on Etsy what thing that i had was going for and then i ask google AI what i could sell them for and it quoted about the same prices for online selling and also gave me prices for craft shows and i priced my stuff around the price the AI gave me for craft shows. Mike Crosa Posted April 19 Report Posted April 19 That's a great use of AI. Going to try it myself. Aggie and OCtoolguy 2 Quote
Aggie Posted April 19 Author Report Posted April 19 what I did with AI was to take a picture of the item i made with my phone and asked AI how much i could sell the item in the picture for. Mike Crosa and OCtoolguy 2 Quote
