  11. Well done! I've always liked country music and most of the new artists don't really qualify as country singers to me. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  12. Hi, Chris, How about telling us a little about yourself? I have an index of the CWWC issues that I have that goes from 1990 to August of 2014 but, I definitely do not have any type of index of every issue they ever published. What exactly are you looking for? Have you indexed the copies you own and which copies you have that are duplicates? God Bless! Spirithorse
  13. Nicely done, Paul, and nice to hear from you again. Sorry to hear about the stroke and your wife's breathing trouble. Prayers sent to you and your family. God Bless! Spirithorse
  14. Thanks for the kind comments. @FrankEV , Here are a couple close ups, front, back, and side view, I am going to add wooden balls the holder to make it look a bit better and also hold the sword with no chance of it sliding off.
  15. Greetings! Here is a Dragon Sword that I cut for my grandson. He was born in the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese Zodiak. On the back of the small shield, I typed some of the characteristics of the Chinese Dragon. lucky numbers, lucky colors and a Chinese symbol that says Dragon. I don't believe in astrology or most of these items like the Chinese Zodiak but, I thought it was a fun little project and should entertain him and his parents. Ironically, Steve Good called his pattern a Dragon Slaying Sword but, I have represented it as a symbol of the Chinese Dragon birth year. Nothing to brag about but, shown here for your amusement or critique. God Bless! Spirithorse
  16. I was really pleased to see a Resurrection scene pattern by Steve Good due to the topic. I changed the color scheme so, let me know if you think it was good, bad, or indifferent. I did clean up the fuzzies and tried to get another photo but, for some reason the next photo I took had horrible colorization. Nothing at all like the true colors of the project. God Bless! 17. I love it! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  18. The Winfield Collection magazine always advertises FINNISH ply and LUAN. The ad for Finnish ply says, "Not to be confused with lower grade Baltic Birch". It appears the largest panels are 24" x 24" at $13.99 for small orders and a small discount for larger orders. I've never used this product but, thought it worth mentioning for scrollers looking for options. I have also seen 1/8" and 1/4" plywood at Hobby Lobby but, did not investigate it any further because I could get the larger sheets of Baltic Birch at a reasonable price and was not considering getting small sized cut-offs and giving more money in the long run. Winfield also sells 1/8", 1/4", and 1/2" Hardwood boards. I have not used those either; just passing along options. When I first began scrolling and knew very little about the thin plywoods, I tried Luan and was very quickly dismayed with the quality of that. God Bless! Spirithorse
  19. WEll done, Barb! I also enjoyed that pattern very much and have two of them cut out. Steve's version shows the cave in brown but, I am contemplating doing a thin wash of gray with dry brush black to represent rock. I'll try to remember to take photos and upload it here. God Bless! Spirithorse
