  6. @Scrappile Paul, you're just totally looney (According to your avatar status), I agree the search engine hasn't helped me much either. I have also thought that better names for the patterns or tags for the patterns might help. God Bless! Spirithorse
  7. Thanks for all the effort @meflick I wonder why a search of Pool, Clock, Billiards, etc did NOT find the pattern while checking the pattern section? I did not want the pattern but, tried to help Kevin. You did well and want you to know your time and efforts are appreciated. God Bless! Spirithorse

  10. Hi, Kevin If you go to the pattern section and type in a search you should get a drop down menu asking what areas to search, including search only the pattern section. I did NOT find this pattern in the pattern section though. God Bless! Spirithorse

  14. Greetings, There are lots of rotary tools LIKE a Dremel out there. In fact, if you type in your search engine "Rotary Tools Like Dremel" you will get at least 4 advertised items. There are also the Harbor Freight cheap rotary tools that would work for drilling holes in your fretwork patterns but, probably not much of anything else. God Bless! Spirithorse
  15. Hi, Bob, No pics here either but, I hope I can help. Here are two very good examples to find the exact center of your circle. https://www.todayshomeowner.com/how-to-find-the-center-of-a-circle/ https://makezine.com/projects/skill-builder-finding-the-center/ Now that you have the exact center, use any of the lines that are on the edge of your circle and, using a protractor, use one of the intersecting lines you have already drawn on your circle as your starting point and mark off 36 degrees from that point (because you want 10 straight edges in a 360 degree circle). Then, just mark 36 degrees from your new point. Do this all the way around the circle and then join the dots from the 36 degree marks to cut off your straight edges. Here is a description describing the same actions above but, perhaps easier to understand than I could describe it. https://sciencing.com/degrees-circle-7839371.html Good luck and God Bless! 16. Welcome to the forum, Chad, Your link didn't work but, I did find your site at www.scrollsawhero.com Mostly silhouettes but, a generous offer and you are light-years ahead of me for developing a web-site! Thank you for the offerings. God Bless! Spirithorse
  17. Welcome, Thom, Good advice already given. I do think the advice about using Baltic Birch is sound advice and less likely to break and another suggestion I'd like to contribute is the order of the cuts. You want to leave as much wood to support the surrounding areas as possible as you cut. I've been scrolling for quite a while now and I would still cut this pattern, removing the black, by starting on the bottom left, then counter-clockwise to the area with the nose, then the right bottom, then the top of the head, then the left eye as you are looking at the pattern, and finally the right eye. It would not hurt at all to make those small circular areas that make the eyes a little bit larger. Just remove a little less of the black and leave a little more the wood. Can't wait to see your finished project. Don't forget to date and photograph your early attempts so you can watch your own progress! God Bless! Spirithorse

  25. Nice work, Les, As already stated, a smaller blade than a 7 would be easier to cut with but, you did an outstanding job. I just cut that pattern recently and stuck it in my wife's Christmas stocking. I painted the words candy apple red and left the border natural. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
