  3. Hi, Don, Unless I am mistaken, you misinterpreted Brian's reply when he said ,"That was my piece". I believe the pattern design is from Steve Ramsey(although he said he used someone else's coloring page to make it) and he shared the pattern to be used by anyone. Brian made the scarecrow and he acknowledged that the pic you showed was the one he cut, not his design. God Bless1 Spirithorse
  4. Great cutting and a fine pattern. Ralph, tell your grandson DO NOT go looking for any chow line and DO NOT go looking for a Bosun's punch! Bosun is actually a Boatswain but, is usually pronounced Bosun. Just a couple of the inside jokes that the old salts pull on the new recruits. Tell the grandson good luck on his enlistment. God Bless! Spirithorse
  5. Hmmm, This page says it is free. No trial period. https://download.cnet.com/PicMonkey/3000-2192_4-75715350.html God Bless! Spirithorse

  7. Hi, Don, I went to YouTube and found the WWMM video by Steve Ramsey with this link. http://woodworkingformeremortals.com/beginning-woodworking-intarsia/ Once on that page there is a link that says DOWNLOAD THE PATTERN HERE. This link, https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Byv0IjzK8MhvYXBaN0JSelVNSTA/view may take you directly to the .pdf of the pattern. God Bless! Spirithorse
  8. Greetings, I have finally learned to do this well enough to get by but, due to your post, I looked on the internet to see what easy steps can be taken to arch text as you desire. I found a FREE download of some software called PicMonkey here:https://download.cnet.com/s/picmonkey/ and they say here are the only steps needed: Open an image or a blank canvas in the PicMonkey editor. Go to the Text tab (the Tt icon) on the left-hand side. Click the Add text button, then type your text into the text box. Click Effects on the Text palette. Click the check box next to Curved text. Choose a shape from the drop-down list; Arc or Circle. If you choose Arc, you can adjust the degree of arc with the Curvature slider. To add some depth, click the check box next to Drop Shadow. Even if that is all you ever used the program for, at least it sounds like an easy enough process for that portion of pattern design without having to learn an entire program. God Bless! Spirithorse
  9. Hi, Kevin, Sorry I couldn't find this particular pattern but, Sue Mey Scrollsawartist has one similar. Let us know if you find the designer of your example. God Bless! Spirithorse

  17. Does anyone recall a designer named DEAN that did a lot of automobile patterns? If I could find his site I'd help Ray look for that image. Also, if anyone can identify the car in the pic, that may help narrow down the search. God Bless! Spirithorse
  18. Fantastic pattern and beautiful cutting! I had to look up Norman Rockwell prints to see if that is what Gayle patterned that from. I didn't find any like that from Rockwell. Just astounding work from design to finished project. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse

  25. Great work, Delvaugn, Looks like a lot of work and attention to detail on the chess set although, I imagine that is true of just making a checker board pattern and keeping all those squares to the right dimensions. Thanks for sharing, God Bless! Spirithorse
