  13. Prayers sent your way, Charlie, Several surgeons want me to have cervical and lumbar fusions but, your pain and surgeries are an example of why I say Not Yet anyway. It seems it's a never ending process. Anyway, this isn't about my health problems. I really do wish the best for you and will be praying for you. Please keep us posted. God Bless! Spirithorse
  14. Nice work, Gordster! They are sure to be appreciated. God Bless! Spirithorse
  15. This is just another silhouette that I cut for Easter to shine on our home. A cross with Jesus' robe draped over it. Nothing spectacular as far as the project but representing a truly spectacular event. Cut out of some material like corian at about 10" tall with a high intensity light behind it. God Bless! Spirithorse
  16. Cute, Rocky! God Bless! Spirithorse
  17. Not too badly done except it looks like you must have been using a much bigger blade than necessary. My main question would be, doesn't the size of stroke on the scroll saw really limit the size of box you can make? I'm definitely not trying to be critical here. I wanted to make some of these on a small bench top band-saw and couldn't even get the band-saw tuned up to keep the blade running straight between the rollers. Therefore, I never created any of these boxes after hours and hours of working on the saw and watching videos on how to set up the saw. At least you know you CAN make the boxes. God Bless! Spirithorse
  18. Wlcome Back! Hope to see some of your projects later today or early tomorrow. No pressure, just a few projects at a time. (Grin - just kidding) Show us some items you do as you get back into a nice, relaxed hobby for fun. God Bless! Spirithorse
  19. I'm not going to get into an argument with anyone about this subject but, I want to say that I think Jes brings up a very good point. I also think JT made a valid point about , and I quote here for accuracy, "it is a set of typed words. There is no pause for effect, no highlighting of a specific word, or no way to show word deflection because you can not hear that person's response, only read it. " I think the bottom line is to contemplate HOW we say things before we post and TREAT ONE ANOTHER WITH RESPECT. God Bless! Spirithorse
  20. Congratulations on the new purchase. Now keep the table waxed to keep it from rusting and take care of your investment. Looking forward to seeing some of your projects. God Bless! Spirithorse

  22. Great job, Paul, Nice pattern, Kenny! I also like the modification. Color just adds a lot to practically any project. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  23. The signs I have seen made in Tennessee are almost all western red cedar and that is also what most of Judy Gale Roberts intarsia pieces are made from. God Bless! Spirithorse
  24. Thanks for the question, Grandpa Jim, You have definitely peaked my interest in trying the clear paint method. What color or number of base paint does one ask for to get the desired, clear results on an outdoor sign? God Bless! Spirithorse
  25. On small projects I use the spray cans and on larger projects I use the same method you use with the cheap sponge brushes. I really want to find a cheap source of bees wax and try the bees wax and mineral spirits combination and see if I get a finish I like. God Bless! Spirithorse
