  4. Well, I'm a real private type person so, I don't even know why I am posting these but, here you can see a couple of over-head cabinets I made for the tape, stains,, etc. A 10' long section of bowling alley used for my main work table. My Craftsman 18" scroll saw, a planer, a harbor freight dust collector, a belt sander and also a 5" wide sander (on the floor under a trestle table) and a roto-zip and router hidden under there also. A good, large heater in the corner and I can put a window air conditioner in every summer. Over-head storage for lumber. The small barrel on the right side of pic 1 is for small cut-offs that can be used for other projects but, as you can see, the place is a mess and a lot of those pieces of wood are on the other tables. The tarp isn't really hiding anything. We got our 5 year old grand-son a 125CC atv for Easter and left it in the garage to clean it before putting it in the storage shed where it belongs. God Bless! 5. There is, or was, or was supposed to be, an e-magazine that you can still see advertised here https://www.scrollsawartist.com/?subcats=Y&status=A&pshort=Y&pfull=Y&pname=Y&pkeywords=Y&match=any&search_performed=Y&q=e-Magazine&dispatch=products.search I am unsure if this is from Sue Mey personally or what but, I have read NUMEROUS bad reviews about people being ripped off. They pay for the subscription and then don't receive anything. All I can say is Buyer Beware Let us know if you find anything in your search and God Bless! Spirithorse
  6. Welcome to the forum, Dick, Hope you get up and running soon. God Bless! Spirithorse
  7. Nice looking projects. I agree that they are worth more than $10 each but, each area is different for what people will spend. God Bless! Spirithorse
  8. Great looking chess set. I'm glad you found time to finish it. You can be proud of this project. God Bless! Spirithorse
  9. Spectacular work! I cannot imagine how hard all those various areas would be to cut or how long a project like that would take. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  10. Nice job! I used to like to buy DEFT but, they don't seem to carry it around here anymore. Thanks for sharing your project and God Bless! Spirithorse
  11. Beautiful work, Dick! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse HAPPY EASTER!
  12. Thanks for the replies. God Bless! Spirithorse
  13. Thanks for the info everybody. I hope I eventually find a blade that I can really say is my preferred brand and stick with it. Right now, it really seems like a crap shoot which really stinks when you want to do a lot of variety from Intarsia to 1/8" fretwork. God Bless! Spirithorse
  14. Are the Sharktooth blades sold by Scolleronline or Winfield collection made by Olson? That appears to be the case when I look at the Scrolleronline site and see them listed as Sharktooth/Olson and they discontinued carrying Flying Dutchman blades. These Sharktooth blades are advertised as the Highest Quality German Blades. It just makes me wonder how these blades get branded, named, and advertised to scrollers. What are we really getting and who makes them? (All blades in general). It doesn't appear to me we can really know what we are getting even from companies that seem to be highly regarded. Any thoughts? God Bless! Spirithorse
  15. Fantastic work, Hans! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  16. Very nice! As I try to envision them side by side, facing each other, I think that would look good also but, there's definitely nothing wrong with the way they look now! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  17. Fantastic job! I hope it gives you many, many years of dependable service! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  18. Thanks for the photos, Frank, Looks to me like you are living a charmed life. Keep Ethan spoiled, please! That's part of the grand-parents job, right? God Bless! Spirithorse
  19. Nicely done! Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  20. Welcome to the forum from another Navy Veteran. I think the projects you were inquiring about are most generally just called Layered. Post some pics when you get a chance. God Bless! Spirithorse
  21. Nice work, Lew, :Maybe if you paint the bottom two leaves bright green you will get more sales! Who knows? Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  22. Hi, Lew, Looks fine to me and that's the grain orientation I would have used. Perhaps you could have sanded the surface before cutting the project. Also, even with good quality Baltic birch, one side usually has a better surface with a smoother surface. Check your work piece before applying the pattern and try to use the best surface to avoid pronounced grain or any oval patches in the wood. It still doesn't hurt to sand the surface before applying the pattern or using a wood sealer or conditioner before staining. Thanks for sharing your work with us and God Bless! Spirithorse
  23. I just finished the Alex Fox Tri-Plane for which he generously offered a free pattern and a video of assembly. My finished product definitely would NOT have stayed together with-out glue like Alex's did but, over-all, I am very pleased with the end result. 1/8th inch Baltic Birch and I don't have a customer for this; I just wanted to see how accurate my cutting could be. Thank you very much, Alex! God Bless! Spirithorse
  24. Nice work, Dick, and, again, great sentiment. Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse
  25. Nice job. I agree with Gordster that you may not want to give it to him before an appointment. Go Bless! Spirithorse
