Thanks for th reply, Terry! I am even more impressed that you can be that accurate with the scrollsaw and sanding on a circular object like that. I have only tried one scrollsaw bowl (pattern by Russell aka Birchbark) and had to sand forever. Of course, that is a little different since you are drilling and cutting at an angle. Great cutting but, I personally do not like doing fretwork on dark wood. That is just my opinion. I think it is harder to see than if lighter wood was used. Please do not take this as too critical, it is just one person's opinion. God Bless! Spirithorse

Hi, Dick, I'm just wondering what you glued your Lord's Prayer pattern to for the backer, please? I've had the letters and enough trim for one project cut for a few days but, am not finding any suitable backer of the right size. Nice work, Dan, I made two recently just because I wanted something to do and these are cheap enough to make a couple as gifts. Hi, Sam, Looking at the pics, I think you are being too hard on yourself. The fuzzies on your puzzle can easily be sanded off by hand, with a palm sander or with a mop sander. The project definitely isn't too fragile like lots of fretwork can be. The arrows on the last photo look like you must have let the wood come off the table surface and the blade gouged the wood. Other than that, I think the advise on some reverse tooth blades may help a lot with a steady feed rate into the blade. God Bless! Spirithorse

Nice work, Kevin, but, I think I'd clamp that router or dremel in a vice with some wood faces on the vice to protect you and the router. Or, clamp the projects and keep the dremel in your hand! God Bless! Spirithorse -
