We have some great videos here to help you learn how to make patterns, you can go to the scrolling university and download them or check out Scroll Saw Goodies to find those as well as some additional videos. We would love to see your work and you can make your own gallery with no size limit. Have fun and I hope to see you around the village square.

Grampa welcome to the SSV. You will find a whole bunch of friendly types here. Wehave some great pattern makers and great cutters here and glad to add to the anks. So please jump in where ever you feel you can lend a hand, and don't be afraid to ask any questions. Take a look around and make your self at home.

mmmmm lets see, designer firewood. Since I started out using spiral blades I have been messing around with some flats, just trying to get the feel for them. I have to tell you, I am thinking of staying with my spirals, although I am not giving up on the flats just yet.

Great Job on that pattern. I don't see to much that I personally would change on it, maybe connect a couple areas and widen a bridge here and there, but your pattern came out fantastic. If this is your very first pattern then I can not wait to see your future patterns, they will be a 1000 times better than mine.

Travis, You take care of those things you need to take care of first. I am sure that everyone will understand, we will just call this the spring break. Not to mention it will give some folks time to refine the work they have been doing on their patterns.
