  1. Travis, The Gallery upload seems to be glitchy. I have attempted to upload a pattern (600kb) and I keep getting a blank screen after it has been submitted. I don't know whats up, but I figured I would let you know about it. I will try again latter on and let you know if it works or not.
  2. DAdams, I do not believe that Travis has turned that feature on as of yet. I believe that he will get that feature turned on as soon as he gets some of the bugs worked out of the system that were caused between the move and software upgrade. If I am wrong concerning this I am sure Travis will correct me.
  3. Thanks for all the hard work Travis. There are only two things I noticed; First is that the file attachments did not get moved over. For example in the Pattern request section patterns that were attached to postings for individual requests did not get moved over, which I do not see as a huge deal. I am going to update the one I recently uploaded. But some folks may be looking for them and should be aware that they will not be there. Second, is the upload option in the gallery/library. You are probably aware of that since you stated that you upgraded things and have not turned everything on as of yet. So I thought I would mention it just in case you over looked it. Again thanks for the hard work.
  4. Travis let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I will be more than happy to do what ever I can. Chris

  19. Mike, I am so glad that my tutorial was the jumping board for you. I guess this is where the student surpasses the teacher So are you going to send me a copy of the magazine as a thank you? But seriously, I am so glad for you, I watched you from the start knowing that you were going to be making knock out patterns quickly. Congrats my friend once again.
  20. Fantastic news!
  21. I did a pattern and cutting of a friends Grandson that (I think) would go good with the little gril. I don't think I have posted the pattern (Just posted it) It is not the exact same time period but most folks would never notice.
  22. This can be a bit tricky to answer. One key is to look at the pattern it's self. Some times designers will put "for personal use only" on the pattern. Most of the designers who do this are trying to say that you may use their pattern and gift the finished product but you may not sell the finished cutting. The best thing to do if you have any questions is to ask the designer directly. Some designers will place additional limits on their patterns such as you may use their pattern 100 times etc. Something alot of folks don't think about are patterns from magazines. here you will need to read the fine print often found in the first few pages concerning the use of the patterns located in the magazine.
  23. Mike Welcome to the Village. We are glad to have yet another experieranced scroller here to share their knowledge with others. Again welcome.
