  1. Nice first. Len
  2. Thanks Andrew. Len
  3. Dan, how large are they? Len
  4. Gordie, you've got quite the collection there, and they all look fantastic. Thanks for sharing these with us. Len
  5. Mabel, I use the same tension on my puzzle blades, as I do on any other blade. It makes no difference to me what I'm cutting, I always use the same amount of tension on my blades. No matter if it's 1/16" thick, or, if it's 1.5" thick the tension never changes. I have never encountered anything that I would try to cut with less tension then I use now. If I did, I wouldn't have control of the blade. Maybe this is why I can't do anything with the spiral blades. Len
  6. Joe, these saws had a great reputation in their day, but, this saw is so old that I'm not sure that you can even order parts for it. If you are interested in buying it, you should check out how hard it would be to get spare parts if you needed them. If the spare parts are still available, then I think the saw would be worth the $250.00. Is it a variable speed, or, is it just a two speed model? Len
  7. Kev, maybe your having a carpal tunnel syndrome problem, did you have it checked out? Len

    Witch

Cute, did you let her try to cut it out, it would be a great pattern for her to learn of off. Len
  11. Steve, what a fantastic looking cutting, your aunt will be sure to cherish this one. Thanks for sharing it with us. Len
  12. Well done Frank, it looks good. Len
  13. They look fantastic, I don't know if you really needed to stain them. They probably looked almost as good, if you had only varnished them. I'm sure that the recipient's will cherish getting them, and will display them with pride.. Len
  14. It looks nice, but, I would liked to have seen it, before it got the burn treatment. Also, why did you only burn treat part of it, and not the whole thing? Len
  15. Dan, how's about a red bow-tie, I think it would look better than black? Len
  16. It's nice, and no doubt that it was a lot of work, but, don't you think it would look even nicer if the horses rear legs were shown? I know why their not, but, what do you think? Len
  17. Nicely done Marg, it sure does look like him. Len
  18. Well then Dan, I now understand why you would do them that way, thanks. Len
  19. Dan, your sleds look fantastic, but, I have a question to ask. Why would you apply the letters before you know which letter you actually need to sell a sled, wouldn't it be better to just have the letters ready to apply? Then no matter what letter the customer would want is available, if you cut the complete alphabet that is. Plus, I think it would make handling the sleds a lot easier, as you wouldn't be worried about damaging the letters with one sled sitting on top of another. Len
  20. Andrew, how large is this bauble? Len

    OWL

Now that's a different background, I like how it resembles the moon. Len
  22. What I can see is nicely done, but, I'd like to see a better picture of the german shepard hanging in the background. Len
  23. Kevin, this is a 10" drill press, but that doesn't mean that you can drill a hole 10" deep. The depth that you would probably be able to drill with this particular drill press is about three inches, maybe four. The way they usually report the size of a drill press, is two times the distance from the face of main post to the center tip of the chuck closed. I don't know why they size them this way, but, that's how they do it. Len
  24. Looking good DW, I really like the little 3-d ones, but, they all look nice. Len
