Wonderful job Marg. I like the usefulness of each one. I also love the expression on Mr. Chip's face.
  3. Yeah!! Glad to see you are getting set up again. Do you have a backlog to fill or will you be starting a new?
  4. Wow! Great job on all three. I really love the raccoons. They are one of the few rodents here that I can tolerate. Thanks for sharing.
  5. Looks excellent!
  6. I have a 4" but will upgrade to a 6" next time. If you can find a 6" in your price range that's what I would get. There are a lot of good brands out there. I haven't heard of bad ones yet.
  7. Key chain or necklace. I know how you can get rid of the smell... sent all your antlers to me.
  8. Super nice!
  9. I top feed. If you can tie your shoes without looking you can top-feed.
  10. Hey Paul, it looks great. Maybe you could cut a 3/4" walnut slab sized to create an inch border around the fretwork. Maybe even put a 1/2" bevel on it. That may give it a nice frame, just not the traditional frame.
  11. Hey Ralph, I just downloaded it and the pattern seems to be over 10" x 12". You can always just resize it to whatever you like.
  12. Congrats Ed!! That sure is a big number.
  13. That is very cool! Thanks for sharing.
  14. Yup, I I like it too.
  15. Looks fantanstic! Great job.

Len, it's plenty tough enough for the kids to play with. Ron, thanks for the nice words. I think your cars are better but I'll keep trying to make mine better.

Dan, I used Minwax ebony stain applied with a rag to the tires followed by two coats of wipe-on poly. Thanks for the kind words.
  18. Both look great Dan!
  19. Nice cutting Steve!

This one is from the full sized pattern. I got the wheels in yesterday so I stained them last night. It's walnut and ash. This was cut on the bandsaw and sanded on the spindle sander and by hand. It measures 5" x 7" and is 3-3/4" wide.
  21. Wow, what a beauty! Like Paul said, fit and finish are great. That must have been a bear to cut. I agree, cut thinner and stack them next time. You could even slide a thin piece of walnut between the two halves for accent.
  22. If you group all the objects you can constrain the size and resize proportionally to fit the page. Another way is to save the image as a PDF and open it with a PDF viewer. When you go to print an option you can select is to size to fit page. Hope this helps.
  23. Great job Steve. I like your idea of mixing intarsia and fretwork.
  24. Sorry about the link. Thanks for the new link Larry.
  25. This isn't scrolling but it is useful. I've seen other methods but this is so simple I had to try it. IT WORKS!! I'm making a fire truck and needed a walnut dowel for the ladder. I made the jig and dowels in about 15 minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNp6Gen-PVU#Intent;scheme=http;package=com.google.android.youtube;S.browser_fallback_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DCNp6Gen-PVU;S.android.intent.extra.REFERRER_NAME=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com;end
