  1. No problem with doing both.
  2. Great idea! Nice job on the cutting.
  3. Nice work. I'm going to have to get that pattern.
  4. Sweet!
  5. That is such an adorable pattern. You did a fantastic job on the cutting and frame.
  6. Thanks for the nice words. Sue makes some great patterns and I have 3 of her crosses and want to do more.
  7. I think the pattern was great. I would sand that piece and see what it looks like. The details in the kayak and the man's vest is fantastic. Not sure how big that piece is but if you make it bigger try adding a little more detail to the face. I don't know if that would help (and I know faces are a PITA for me). I think that would look great on a piece of hardwood with a natural edge, also.
  8. A friend of mine, that I and he went to different high schools together, gave me a bunch of cedar boards. In return, I asked him what he wanted and he said a cross to hang on the wall at work. He is a teacher so I went straight to Sue May's sight and bought the pattern. It was tough to find a piece of cedar without knots as I didn't want to detract from the design. I think it came out pretty good. The backer is 1/4" plywood with ebony stain. Finished with 3 coats of Deft satin lacquer.
  9. Great work. Here's a challenge...color each quilt square different.
  10. Very nice. Nature scenes are my favorite.

Very cool! Nice cutting and Mahendra did a good job on the pattern.
  12. Here's one that was a hit a few years ago. I thought it was about time I did it again. The pattern is from Rick McCulley. Sorry for the reflections. Thanks for looking.
  13. You have a good eye for catching that. Good job with the stand too.
  14. I agree...it looks great! I always like oak for those projects. Just looks professional.
  15. Good job. Adapt and overcome.

    pic frame

Excellent frame! I like the wood selection. Of course, the cutie in the picture really enhances your work.
  17. Good job. My favorite saying of his was, "That wouldn't be a homerun in a telephone booth." (Eric Davis popped out to the catcher.)
  18. Pics?
  19. Great design and cutting. But now, he may "work" on the car more than before.
  20. Fantanstic! I love the choice of wood and the details.
  21. Fantastic! I love the wood combinations.

    Fridge Frames

Great idea. Do the magnets hold the pictures on too? This would be great to have on hand for rainy days when the kids say, "I'm bored. What is there to do?"
