  14. There are so many different materials you can use as a backer. A lot can depend on how stable your piece is. If it doesn't need support, then poster border type paper works really well. Felt material is something I use a lot on ornaments as it is light weight. A thin wood of course works well, and you can stain or paint it. I use E6000 to glue most of my items. It has a great hold and gives you plenty of time to adjust or align your work.
  15. all your cuttings are beautiful thank you for sharing.
  16. Beautiful cuttings. Your English is just fine. My grandpa is French Canadian also. My husband has PTSD (Marine) was in Vietnam, so I well understand your struggles.
  17. Last two ornaments or this year. Hubby wanted his stained so here are pictures of the two separate pieces and then them put together. Mine I chose to not stain the main ornament and to just stain the Noel. I really like the contrast the best. These are Steve Good's 2025 Ornaments.
  18. I have seen this cross before. Go to Facebook and to the site Just Intarsia and ask there. Someone I'm pretty has this pattern or knows where to find it. Good Luck. ps did you check Sue Mey? She has a ton of cross patterns.
