  1. HOW ABOUT PUTTING THE ALUMINUM BETEWEEN 2 PIECES OF PLYWOODYOU MIGHT RUN SCREWS THRU THE PLYWOOD TO MAKE SURE IT STAYS IN PLACE. JUST A THOUGHT
  2. There should be different ratings mine would be on Fretwork others would be on heavy use. I use my saw about 900 hours a year. Some use there's maybe a few hours a week. and they might have a machine rater at a 4 or 5 because of the amount of time they use it . Mine will have a lot more use and will be worn and probably have a lower rating.
  3. , My Shows are over. I bought a new table saw with part of my profits. Put it together last evening and this morning. And cleaned up my shop. Next is painting the living room and kitchen. and hen organizing my plans. Getting new plans for next year craft show's This years profits was up 52% over last year. next year gold is 25% over this year. Merry Christmas
  4. Mice cutting it looks like you are getting the spirals down. I have yet to do that I have a Dozen of #2 to try and if don't get it by the I will stick to the flat blades.

  13. I have owned a sears with a bolwer on them that didn't last any time at all. I now have aDW 788 and the blower is still going after a year of cutting between 800 and 900 hours ) and still going.

  16. It sounds like you are having a problem that a lot of new saws have I had the same problem my old yellow I went and bought some AntiSiege from the HW store for about $4 and applied to the blade holding set screw and that solved my problem. IKE
  17. I guess I am lucky . Here in the Cincinnati area you can buy just about anything. I buy a lot at Woodcrafts and they have about anything . The low end scroll saw is the Dewalt788 and the high is the Excalibur. They are a little high but the Quality is good

  19. Love those old steamers. As A kid We lived right along the =tracks. and I have loved them ever since.
  20. Let the saw do the cutting you just steer it. if your table is square with the blade this should cure your problem. Don't rush the blade.

  23. Glad you are doing so good. That wood is as good as money. You can always make cookies out of the saw dust.
  24. I have a according mounted light over my saw and it works fine I bought it at a Garage sale for $2. I have yet to see a Scroll Saw light that comes on the saw worth plugging in. But I have not seen them all
