I don't know if you use a foot peddle. If you do when you get this fixed turn on the switch put some tape over the switch to seal out dust.go and buy a foot switch the cost is about $25 or you can sometimes find them at Harbor Freight for about $15 ( I son't know how good they are0 I bought mine at wood supply for $25 3 years ago. I have a 20 in. Dewalt and i very seldom need anything that big, but why go to anything smaller and then want to make something too larger for a 16' If I could afford a larger one I would get it so I could run a bigger project if I wanted to. IKE

This is not in answer to your question but I think I should pass it on every once in a while.When using tight bond glue and you need to take your project apart because you glued it wrong The only tihg I have found is to soak it in vinegar, It just makes the glue soft and can be taken apart, It does take some time I had to do it a couple of weeks ago and it had to soak for about 3 hours but it did come apart with out any damage to my project. Thanks for letting me interrupt the discussion. IKE

I have never had the problem, but about once in a while I have to adjust the tension rod You don't have to tear down the saw just the upper arm and adjust it. It will tell you o;n the maintence video on the internet, it only takes about 15 minutes. I kjow how but can't explain it. IKE

when cutting puzzles it is not hard to break a leg so I keep glue handy. When I did the steam engin ( 10 hours work0 i had it break and I couldn't glue it so I made all the repeat areas alike and no one can tell it. IKE

I have a 2 gal shop vac hooked up to my saw via foot peddle with it I have a shop vac air cleaner and they both get a lot of dust The shop vac gets the larger dust and the air cleaner gets the fine mist, I also use a face mask, in a small shop you need something like that or you would be sitting in a cloud of dust. IKE

I use foa;m brushes to paint my backers with acrylic paint I use tight bone paint . It has never failed me. IKE

I was always told that if it doesn't fit into a toilet paper sleeve it is ok. That's what I go by if it fits i either won't make it or I will enlarge the pattern. IKE

That's one reasonnot to take special orders. When I do ( very seldom do) I get a % of the price before I start, at least enough to buy the materials. But I just don't like special orders. IKE

I caught it in a farm pound outside Pleasant Plain There is several pounds around tat area that have good fish but as the farms are being sold it gets harder to get into some of the pounds. IKE

There was a 6 lb bass caught 3 years ago and that was what I was fishing for. I did change to 12 lb. test line today. The 4 lb one gave me a good fight on * lb line.The nice thing about the phone being dead is that your wife can't bother you. you just fish as long as you wish. IKE

The past 2 weeks I haven't do anything on the saw, My back has been bothering so yesterday I went out and worked a couple of hours and my back was getting tired so I went into the house picked up a fishing magazine and then My back felt ok so I went fishing Well I will have to take a couple of days off again. The onlly good thing tat happened was I caught a 20 inch Large mouth Bass weighing 4 lbs on 8 dlb line It was a good fight adnd well worth a couple of days off the saw. No pictures I didn't have my phone the baaattery was dead. IKE

That is the reason I very seldom take special orders . You can't ever satisfy some people they keep changing the orders It about dries you nuts.but with me that's not a drive just a short put. IKE
