My eyes are back after a good night sleep Marg Ready for the next project that I started on yesterday its going to be a Cathedral. Looks challenging.

certainly I used a #1 spiral for 99% of it and the inside was cut with a #5 Blade Oh skiptooth.

I started on a picture for it but its just to small so I threw it in the designer kindling box, working on a cathedral now.

Hi Ray welcome to the village, I see you've met the old guys already that saves me from having to introduce them to you. I think it is great belonging to as many scroll saw sites as you can and do strut your stuff on all of them. Myself I frequent about 6 different sites, a lot have the same members but there is different ones on each one also. I find the over seas sites have a lot of nice patterns to offer that why I belong to them. But please visit the free pattern section on this site as its great also. Do snoop around this site lots of fun and great people. .../Hans

Fantastic is the first word that comes to mind A very good job on a great pattern I feel sorry for people not willing to learn to work with spirals, now that you have mastered and its obvious you have, there is just no limit to whats available for you to cut. I use spirals almost all the time and find on my DW788 the best speed is around 4 not sure what you use for saw but just to give you some idea. Congratulations on a great piece. .../Hans

Its totally balanced and free standing as I was installing the top piece I had to balance it by adding 1 more piece of wood on the counter balance and keep doing that until it stood on its own pretty tricky stuff to work on but worthwhile. I hope you folks like it.

Great looking pieces all of them I seem to suffer to much of this idle time lately but I'm beginning to feel a little better so I'll try something a little more challenging this afternoon after my nap.
