  1. Thanks every one yesRon I've made the same frame with a deer and mountain scene in stead of the girl and in landscape fashion. It's a tough cut if your doing it for the purpose of cutting a frame only

  5. Thanks everyone ironically this gold panner is from the Yukon not from Colorado but I guess it all depends which side of the border you live on. If you zoom in on the picture you'll see I even put 3 gold nuggets in the pan
  6. Great job Dick I did that one a couple of years ago also used a #3 spiral it's a great pattern I've been experimenting using different colour back grounds mine is green very pretty with a matching green frame .../hans

  11. Thanks everyone my new shop is not ready organized yet and won't be for another 6 months or so as I have to rebuild the inside of my holiday trailer inside the shop but the building is 24 x 22 so plenty of space.

I have found in my years of scrolling that after you drill all your holes you take a large nail and tap each hole on the bottom side you wont have any problem finding the holes as the blade just naturally slide into the hole if you still have a problem try poking a pencil in the hole leaving a little black mark in the hole so to see it better. If that dont work have you tried a bandsaw?
  16. just dropped in to say Hello Ive been bussy after my move to Canada and havent even looked atthe scrollsaw untill about a week ago. Not full time yet but doing a little warming up excersises and for those of you that know me thats no small feat for most of us. I still need to finish the ferriswheel Istarted in Mexico. Anyway i,ll try and stay in touch. Hans

    thank you Marg yes #3 and #5 spirals only the fold lines are where I joined the 4 pieces together no getting away from that.

    I know I can do it because I did it this is the finished product I painted it gloss white with a flat black back ground.

    Kevin this is the finished piece all cut and glued to the back board and yes it was a bit crowded in the trailer as this took a lot of room.
