  5. Thanks Ron can't get to much fruit in it maybe 2 apples I think it would be nice on a set table with a lacy white doily in it and some slices of bread or biscuits.
  6. Its to funny to read all these comments about used to be or had or did I thought the same until the day I moved here to Mexico and find a lot of the stuff you folks mentioned are still very real here. Its not the inconvenience of doing with out that I've noticed the most but the enjoyment of the simplicity of life, work under the table no drivers license or insurance, cash only you can buy cigarettes by the piece here even eggs actually everything is just simplified. It seems in general people are very content here of course there is the odd one who thinks that things are a lot better on the outside but they have never tried it just saw it on TV.

  9. Roly Don't feel bad I'm sure that 99% of us can't hold candle to this guy, not saying our work is bad it's just this guy is at another level, perhaps even a league of his own. but no matter how you look at People look at our work with amaze cause they'll never see that other guys work. I think we may have to have him removed from facebook so we don't look so bad.
  10. Nice work Dan I think a Deft semi gloss finish would be great.
  11. Now I've tried and am known to do some of the smallest pieces but this guy takes the cake his work is fascinating and totally out of this world, I can't help but encourage him in his success. Check him out on facebook. www.facebook.com/NAHHAT.Fatih.TOPATAN/photos
  12. Muy bien bonito Frank
  13. Very nicely done Roly, I think you can get whatever someone is willing to pay, there are many factors at play. Location is one where I live I would be very lucky to get 100 pesos thats 8 bucks then it depends if I'm selling where there are a lot of expats I'll get 200 pesos thats 16 bucks then species of wood is important and the finish of course. yup its whatever the market will bare.
