  1. I'm getting so close to coming back to my scroll saw work its scary. I purchased this tiny place in Alberta and found there just was no room for my tools or for me to work, unlike Mexico where I just worked outside most the time. So I tossed the idea around for an addition on the house then a garage and a workshop etc etc well they all were way more then my budget would allow then I came up with this brilliant Idea why not pick up one of those portable offices/lunchroom /first aid shack so I browsed around and located one last week for a reasonably sum so I took delivery today now just get things organized and a little renovating and we'll be set. Note the table folds down into a bed, pretty well a must when you get accustomed to siestas as I am. the size is 8.5 feet x 24 feet. See you all soon.
  2. I have arrived in Alberta Canada safe and sound finally still not in my new home but will be next Tuesday when I take possession . just wanted you to stay in touch and say hello probably will not be scrolling for a month or so but stay tuned I brought the ferriswheel half cut with me to finnish. Talk to you all later. I will be peeking in once in a while.

OK OK I'm still in Mexico being held up by bureaucracy My truck has been sitting here loaded for about 2 weeks and every time we make one step forward they push me back 2 steps but really folks its Getting closer, We finally closed on the house sale on Thursday,Friday was a stat holiday here so Monday were going in the apply for a safe passage permit from the Mexican Govt. to drive my foreign Pickup out of Mexico. They will give me 5 days to drive it out. In the mean time I have purchased a home in a small farmers village in Alberta so I'm looking forward to starting up once I get there. I gave most of my scrollwork art away as there was only so much room in my little Ranger Oh well it was out of hand anyway. So with any luck I should be on the road by Friday and in Canada The following Friday So once I get set up I'll be back on a regular basis to talk with you guys. Miss you all.

  17. No its only 1 panel mind you it doesn't matter 1 or 6 I just stack them anyway but it takes about 4 hours to cut a panel.
  18. Yes the bars are 1/8 plywood x 1/8 wide so there really is no strength Paul and then I have to deal with a lot of voids in the plywood as well.
  19. Were cutting it this evening it broke right at the rings so there was no fixing it.
  20. Painstakingly and much breakage, sweat, tears, cusses well you get the picture its done except for a missing panel in the rear, that i broke a few minutes ago while assembling this unit its like you get one side in and the other pops out and you just cant force 1/8" plywood especially when you cut 75% of the strength out of it So there you have it enjoy.
  21. Ok I want to put my 2 bits in that is a fine piece you cut, you overcame all your little problem areas very well congratulations.
