  1. Well done ! you got my vote !
  2. OK! This should help ,I decided to add another step this one on the wall ,this side of the water wheel .and reversed the frame to accept the extra width of the 3 steps ,took a pic at an angle as well as straight on , I have not seen the pic's yet will when I post then we see if all this was worth the effort ,The original stepped on is on my wall and I like it .Others may not still have two originals as they were intended ,Neptun.I hope you don't mind me separating you great pattern ! Even those really don't do It justice ,looks so much better in person ! IMHO!
  3. Very very nicely done ,I agree with your sign completely ,Half of my shop has been rescued from something ,my best friend (porkchop ) my dog the very best save I ever made !
  4. Larry .That is definitely a keeper , Well done ! As my old fishing Buddy would say ,That will definitely fry !
  5. Very nicely done !all of them ,That key Has a nice effect ! I've got to do some thing special ,be 55 years on the 14th. ! Dam ,What a Ride !
  6. I was afraid the difference would be difficult to see and go unnoticed in the pictures .They were stack cut ,one ,the first one the floom and the wheel down were raised 1/4" adding a degree of depth and separation from the mill . I like it ,not sure it's worth the extra work involved ,difficult to separate so many features w/o causing distortion of some things .Still have two of the originals ,unaltered ,I will keep modified one .for my gallery !Thanks for looking and posting ,Starting the Frog next ,we shall see !
  7. Now you just have ti see where th difference is and what it"s doing !
  8. YOUR GETTING WARMER
  9. Sorry ,was there once ,no more ,still have vivid memories ,not all good ,some seem to do well ,but when I got out a pencil & used actual #'s to it ,I made no sense other than if you in to being the entertainment and comrodery of the shows and being involved .Shops want your stuff on consignment +30-40 % .I can get insulted here and not in front of people by a know it all drunk ! or user ! impressing his tattooed princess ! If you want to make money there sell barbeeque and hot dogs& drinks or shaved ice !
  10. Yes! They are with one variation I was hoping some one would see it ,it's not as noticeable in the photo s, pretty dramatic ,on actual objects' s or maybe just in my eyes! Thanks for looking and answering !
  11. I finally finished ,Neptun's design went with basic old time frames see which one you like better! Try to ignore the red reflection .
  12. A BIG AMEN!!! On the last sign ! Nice work on the rest .
  13. John ,I would still read your warranty ,some times installers ,are not the sharpest ,knifes in the drawer when it comes to warranty and exclusions of same . I still find it hard to believe that they will cover this use ,fine saw dust is a completely different breed of cat than house dust and hair ,plus the volume of stuff that cakes as part of it's nature ,I think will overwelm the unit , I hope I am wrong ,and you have great success and no issues ! If ,I am wrong ,I can see a lot of people converting to what you have ! best of luck and keep us posted !
  14. Unfortunately ,cheap has become the defining factor ,as of late .thankfully , I was a bit of a pack rat and saved useful things ,and now have a supply of things to recycle ,modify and convert .plus a lot of things to keep my mind busy ,keeping boredom and depression ,at bay ,best I can ! Keeps me going !
  15. I found the same thing you did with the big flor, unit ,bulky heavy and very un handy, this is a cheap hand held one 5" lighter and easier to use just removed the handle dremeled a cavity side ways and epoxied the swivel to it ! Real happy with dust free on every thing ,now very user friendly w/o shadows and dark spot s ,could be set up for left or right handed use ,with out any extra adjustments w/ plenty of free room for hand clearance and work ! I also removed 1 1/2"of front tray to allow better sight angle and still catch the chips .
  16. So you were the best man at the nudest wedding ! congratulations!
  17. Now that all my excuses are gone ,I have to learn to steer better ! Damn.
  18. Finally eliminated the shadows and got a magnifier thats truly adjustable ,I found a chrome soldering helper man w/ lite at Goodwill for $7.95 , Changed his personality &configuration and modified the magnifier to except the swivel joints . once set ,swings completely out of the way and is still keyed to return exactly every time ,best $8 I have spent in a long time !
  19. if you have some colored construction paper ,I think I would try sectioning pink just behind the flower or white ,blue behind the water green behind the frog brown behind the eyes ,be fun to see ,thats a great pattern to do that with!Just an Idea !
  20. You may want to check and recheck the effects untra fine saw dust may have on you house system ,I would be very wary ,I'd call the mfgr. This stuff is finer than frog hair as you go down blade sizes and spirals ,Can't say it won't handle it ,But your saw produces far more dust per hour than you house does in a month .Plus, moma would have a fit if she finds you scroll saw dust other places in the house than you shop! Let alone keeps plugging up expensive filters so it will not work till changed .You May be right ,BUT if your not may be very costly . I have never heard of anyone using one for that purpose ,Keep us posted ,your idea may help others !JMHO!!!
  21. Top job ,where did you get the pattern ? I would love to do ,that one and raise it !
  22. That design would be helpful for items shown ,in the video and the zee adjustment at certain equipment would make it utilitarian for a number of pc.s of equip ,The critical thing is collecting at the source ,space is always a major issue and placement at the correct end of a sanding disc ,The other key is to not have the collector interfier with the working of the machine , Delicate balance to solve a problem with out causing another .I see no application for use on a scroll saw !
  23. May take some time get one to sit still while modeling a kilt to make a pattern ,Hey! Birch bark ! can you help me out here!
