  1. I kind of thought I had seen something similar in Steve's sight but yours looked so much better that I thought they were a different pattern. Dick heppnerguy
  2. Just to prove that I do get out in my shop every now and then, I have am going to post a couple of easy ones I did yesterday morning. These are not finished yet and I will not post the finished pieces because I know they do not matter that much. The Elvis one took about 10 minutes to cut and the pug took me about 20 minutes to cut. Just messing around, no real reason for cutting them. just needed to be out in my shop and hearing my EX humming away and making saw dust. Dick heppnerguy
  3. I never thought of golf when I viewed it but I bet if you added a golf T to the pattern, a lot of people would pick up on it and you should have some sales going your way. Dick heppnerguy
  4. Love the way you make your signs. They are well received, no doubt. I hope you continue making them as they should be sought after by many. Dick heppnerguy
  5. Well Frank, you did yourself proud. I have a difficult time understanding why so many scrollers seem to be afraid of intarsia. I guess that goes for the spiral blade too. I kind of figure the more you try to learn the more one can do. Great little frog. I have it on my long. long to do list Dick heppnerguy
  6. What a terrific piece. I love those old planes. we have a small air field about 2 miles from our house and they have a fly-in there every winter. I missed the last one. I am really hoping that we will be home for the next one, as I am in hopes that someone will be selling rides in an open cockpit bi-plane. I would really love to cross that one off my bucket list. Your project is really cool. Is there any chance that you are going to post your pattern for this one? I bet a lot of people will be interested in cutting for their walls. It is a beauty Dick heppnerguy
  7. Hey, you know, that does help me to 'get it'.. I am a little dense, huh? Why are you questioning my 'LITTLE DENSE' comment.? OH, now I get it.... you are thinking it should read, 'REALLY DENSE' I expect you are correct on that point. Dick heppnerguy
  8. Great pieces. Love the patterns and your work. Very fun to view Dick heppnerguy
  9. you never stop giving.. I like that about you Dick heppnerguy
  10. would be fun to see the finished pieces in person. I find it a little difficult to really see the effects, but then I am old and don't get everything. Dick heppnerguy
  11. nice projects. I have been thinking about cutting a collapsible bowl also but was wondering if they are big enough to be practical. What do you think, now that you have cut a couple? I really like the Thanksgiving napkin holders. Where did you find the pattern ? Those I know I would like to cut out Dick heppnerguy

  18. Welcome back, Karl. We just moved from Oregon to Arizona a little more then a year ago. I still have a lot of things to organize and understand about our new home. Our move was fairly easy, as is possible, because we sold almost everything in the house except our bedroom furniture and I sold some of my tools and shop things to make sure we could make the move in a UHaul truck. The cost of having our things moved for us was over $10,000 so we came out ahead and now we have all new furniture, besides. I do not envy you making another move but, I do wish you a good move and hope you can settle in quickly and get that EX humming again. I now have 2 EX's, one I bought from Scrappile and one I found on Craigslist in Phoenix. I love both of them a lot. Dick heppnerguy
  19. Wow, you ask for some knew clock patterns and you put them to use in no time. (no pun intended). I love it when a pattern maker makes a pattern and it is cut really quickly after that. Nice pieces. Dick heppnerguy

  22. I have been eyeing the one I cut a couple of years ago, that the dog got a hold of and chipped it up some. Been thinking about cutting another one, myself. It is really fun to discover you and cut different kinds of scroll work. Keep trying more and more things. You are doing really well. Nice job on this one Dick heppnerguy
