  1. One other word to everyones response. Awesome! Just amazing! Okay, that was more than one word.
  2. Very nice. Is that what you use to display the birdhouses at the crafts shows you are in?

WOW! Congrats on getting 1st. You should be proud. That is really cool.
  4. I really like my lighted magnifier that I purchased from Advanced Machinery. They are the company that sells Hegners.
  5. Love it! Made me laugh out loud.
  6. Wow is right! Very nice!
  7. I use cigar tubes. The tubes of blades are stored in a cigar box. When using a certain size blade,I just have the tube sitting on my workbench. When it comes time to change blades, it gives me a chance to stand up and stretch.
  8. Awesome job on the mouse. Christmas tree also. I don’t recall seeing the mouse in the magazine. I’ll have to go back and take a look at it.
  9. Perfect timing on your post. I’m doing a few Christmas intarsia pieces and I’m struggling keeping them in place. Thank you!
  10. Nice work! I also really like the cabin scenes
  11. Nice work! I too was into model railroading, HO scale. I had a 4x10(?) layout. I loved, loved, loved building and modeling it. Running the trains was actually kind of boring. Scratch building was a lot of fun as was making my own trees. Good times, good times indeed.
  12. Here in Minnesota, it gets cold. So I’m lucky. I have a summer shop and a winter shop. The winter shop is in the basement, toasty warm. The summer shop is detached 3 stall garage, uninsulated. I pretty much have two of everything I need for woodworking. It probably would’ve been cheaper insulating and heating the 3 stall vs duplicating all my tools. Oh well.
  13. Cardboard box also, but I stand a used furnace filter up at the back. I stick pattern onto filter and spray 3M77. The furnace filter catches the over spray and the pattern doesn’t go blowing away.
  14. I’ll take the Hegner clamps over the EX and Pegas clamps any day. I don’t think it takes any longer to change blades with the Hegner vs EX. But if it does take longer, I don’t particularly care. When I’m running my scrollsaw, I’m I my own little world and time is irrelevant.
  15. My first was an AMT. it was my dads. He made the most beautiful intarsia pieces with it. I had no such luck. My next one was a craftsman. Both of these saws were pin only. Both also collected dust from lack of use. My nephew gave me a DW788 and what a difference. That got me hooked. Since then, I’ve purchased two EX-21’s and two Hegner’s. (I have a summer shop and a winter shop) I still have all four, but use only the Hegners. The only time I’ll use the EX’s is when I need to tilt the head.
  16. Wow! Those are awesome!
  17. I agree with Ctutor. Ocooch. They are really good to work with.
  18. Never even thought of leaving pattern on and painting the frets. I too am going to have to steal that idea.
  19. I’ll join ya with a cold frosty Hamms and a shot (or two) of Jim Beam Black. As a clown this is one of my favorite tunes to juggle to. I’ll have to try and see if I can juggle as long as they’re jamming’.
  20. Rey, very nice!
  21. What thickness did you use Dick? Looking at the pattern from the site, it says to use 1/4”. The photo you posted looks thicker than that. I’m thinking 1/2-3/4” would make it look “more full”. Also easier to round the edges.
  22. Looks like a lot of fun to make and paint. Very nice!
  23. Impressive!
