  1. Worked fine! Very cute, for sure. Thank you.
  2. Very nice shop and I liked the tour.... I also like and respect the sentimental value you place on it. You are very lucky to have such a grandpa... My only grandpa pasted away when I was 4 and he lived quite a ways away... The only thing I have of his is a couple memories and the cane he use just before he died.... I don't even know how I ended up with it. I have grandchildren, but they live far away, and I have never had as much time with them as I would like. Thanks for the tour....
  3. Ha! After 3 1/2 hours of downloading, I finally got to see your shop!! Worth the effort, very nice shop. Looks to be about twice the size or more than mine... Very nice layout.. I really think I could be happy with that! The tool you have that I would most like to have is that drum sander... I bet it come in handy... Thanks for taking the time to share with us..
  4. So it must be my internet is slow... or my computer is ?? I have a Mac Desk top... I can watch the videos in university on here, but they are also on youtube.. so they must be linked to youtube... I had no problem watching Dave's video about inlay,,, @travis is there anything I can do?
  5. Why is it I cannot watch videos on a website like this.... I can watch them on youtube,, Rumble and places like that but on here it took 10 minutes of waiting just for you to open the door. I was going to try to down load it and it was going to take 3 hours.... Do you have this video somewhere else? I want to see your shop!!!
  6. "Hello everyone I write from Italy I started very recently with the jigsaw, sorry if I write in Italian but mine is really a terrible English, I started with the hand one but then I got passionate and I switched almost immediately to the electric one , I hope to share this passion with you and except great teachings and advice" Welcome to the forum... Hope you enjoy.
  7. I use one of these $5 works great,,, no fuss no muss...
  8. Great job. any chance of seeing video of it working...
  9. I shop Cherokee first and if I need a specie they do not carry I use Ocooch. And yes,,,, I learned about Cherokee from @octoolguy, and I thank him for it!!
  10. I have been purchasing my past micro bits from DnD (https://www.dndsawbladesonline.com/page/448829586 ) and they have been the best yet.... Don't buy cheapies and don't buy one of each size... Micro bits break,,, you will want to buy like a dozen of each size you want. I think Denny, member here ( https://www.artcraftersonline.com ) sells the same brand.... they are both great places to do business with. My drill press chuck closes all the way down so I do not need a chuck adapter... I had one on the last drill press I had and it wobbles so bad it was unusable... so I can't give you a recommendation on that. P.S. Just saw this posted.... (Artcrafters)
  11. It is a tension clamp... but the guy needs to be whooped for abusing his saw like that... It needs respect and love....
  12. I agree, another beautiful box!
  13. I have not upgraded anything on my band saw,,,, except to put a riser block in it so I could resaw more....which I have not done.... I really do not like band saws... I do not like changing blades.. fact my beautiful Grizzly sits most the time..collecting dust... I have looked at the Carter upgrades... but not worth it for not more than I use the saw...
  14. Great picture.... Great work
  15. This site has a couple, look ate items 214 and 222. He has excellent patterns... http://www.finescrollsaw.com/order.htm
  16. It works good, but the little wind up thing gets away from you and spins at 96.2 mph and hits your hand, it hurts!!!!!~
  17. Do NOT get this one! Dangerous overkill and I hate it!! Merle band clamp.
  18. This is what Advance Machinery site" How do you easily identify which clamp is which? Small and large slot clamps both have a smooth top, but are easy to differentiate since the large slot is twice the size of the small one. The medium slot clamp has a dimple in its top so you can easily tell it apart from the others. Also, all separately ordered clamp pairs are supplied in individual bags identifying their size.
  19. Would be a cute bird house.... Use that pattern as the front of the house...
  20. Great job, Kevin...
  21. Well that is a great picture and with a frame,,, I agree with Heppnerguy.
  22. Very well done!
  23. I agree, those really look nice.... I saved the patterns.... hope to get to them one day.
  24. A+ grade on that....
  25. JUST MY OPINION! I think the Type I versa Type 2 is blown way out of proportion.... Mine was a later model type 2. Do I believe there were some problems with the first Type 2's yes or maybe.... but if there were,, it was before my Type 2. I had NO problems with mine and if I was looking for a Dewalt, the Type 1, type 2 argument would not even cross my mind.... Oh, oh,, here we go now..
