  2. Nice job.... Gotta love the gnomes!
  3. Yes called live edge,,,, and it is really dead bark!!. There was a bass wood place on the net I use to order it from, but I think they quit...
  4. I love the pictures with the bark.... Wish I could find a source for it.... Great job on your picture...
  5. WOW! That turned out nice!
  6. Those are awesome. Especially the bee. Great job.
  7. Certainly tells the story of 2020! Great job.
  8. Looks like "Awesome" is the word of the day,, and it certainly is appropriate. Outstanding describes it well also.
  9. Very,,, very well done!
  10. I have a hard time sticking to one project from start to finish, that is why I have several going at once... switch back and forth,,,, like, what do I want to work on today... glad I am a hobbyist,,, I'd go broke very quickly in production work.. My mandala is on hold for some different blades I want to try... Then, this time of year I see some Christmas thing and.. wow... got to cut that...!
  11. Okay!!!! Sir, Job well done.. that is beautiful!!!
  12. Bill, that is great from a Gnome fan.. Saw that pattern in my daily Steve Good mail and thought what a fun pattern... You really jumped on it and a great job you did... I look forward to cutting and painting some.
  13. Well Your cutting is great and your dogs are beautiful and that's the truth!!
  14. Only bad part, and maybe I just miss it, but what was the final resolution for @Dave Monk? I know he still has his Hegner... I got to say, I have two saws, Hegner and Seyco. My poor Seyco just sits 90% of the time... I am just so comfortable with my Hegner. Took me a little while to get use to the Hegner when I first got it. But once I did, I would not part with it as long as I am able to scroll. If I lived where there are more scrollers, I would probably try to sell my Seyco... just because I don't use it enough to justify it sitting there...
  15. Nice job, Frank. Did you dip the red ones in the stain? I like them colored as you have done. I am surprised you were successful with that small of a blade. I haven't done a whole lot of compound cutting so I just assumed I had to use at least a #3 or larger. I do like compound cutting. It always amazes me what it looks like when the waste is removed. Kind of like packaging present.
  16. I don't think it was intended as insult. I run into a lot of people that don't know the difference.. Usually they are just not familiar wit woodworking..
  17. Beautiful and thanks for the "long story". Love to read how things are done and I always learn something.
  18. Really a nice piece!
  19. Great job... I hope you dated it and said who from somewhere on it...
  20. Awesome!! I agree with all, great pattern and great cutting!
  21. Well done!
  22. Well done....
  23. Some mighty fine work....
  24. I had a lighter spring, but it was too light... for me. The arm would stay up, but was too easy to pull down,,, just didn't feel right to me... so I put on a little heavier one. I like having the arm go higher...
  25. maybe this will help people see it.
