  1. WOW! great job...
  2. Well they didn't cut out any of your talent.... Great picture...
  3. Very cute,,, very well done!
  4. That really look nice!!
  5. Yep Jim, if I lived closer, could sell my Seyco and had a little extra cash... I would be looking hard at that. That is half price of the saw without the stand, quick clamp, not a bad price. I'd love to have two Hegners..
  6. My wife and I do not send out many Christmas Cards and the only ones we do are some relatives that we don't get to see. A couple years ago. I decided to make something Christmasy for the locals that we usually have Christmas Dinner with. Well I guess no Christmas dinner this year, but I still made a little something as our Christmas card to them. They will get one of these this year... It is a Steve Good pattern. It's about 8" tall. Come apart for easy storage or so it won't take up much room in their garbage...
  7. Hard choice,,, I guess the colored one.. Very nice work on them.
  8. It is not your computer..... nothing for me is easy in Inkscape or Gimp.. just too many steps to do something that should be simple.... for an old feeble brain like mine... I can't remember why I go into any one room...How can I remember all the steps in Inkscape...
  9. Well to each his own... I have had an Excalibur, great saw and the Pegas may be a little better, because of the clamps.... I have a Seyco now, with Pegas clamps, and I have a Hegner.... I would not give up my Hegner... I love... It just feels so comfortable to me... There are those that don't feel the same.. that is why I say to each his own... I spend most my time on my Hegner.... I did when I had the Ex also... The Hegner fits me like a comfortable shoe...
  10. Very nice looking welcome.... My first dog was a beagle.... Named him "Hugo". Hugo was always in trouble and I was always having to give him baths... He loved to roll in the most vile stuff he could find.... Sometimes he got two baths in one day. But I loved that dog...
  11. Very nice. They will certainly treasure them...
  12. Oh my,,,,another beautiful piece.... and yes what you do is art!
  13. Delta listed at $299 right now at Home Depot,,,, but they are out of stock.... often the case.
  14. Rick, I can do it, but I can't explain it.. I just fumble around until it happens... If you go to this video in the How To articles it explains it starting around 10minutes 20 seconds into the video. Before you do this you have to change your picture to a bit map....what ever that is. Select "Path" and the Bit Map option is under that. But this may get you into the right direction. I have not succeeded on a PDF film, I have had to change PDFs to a png or jpeg..
  15. Bill, I just drilled and tapped a hole for a 3/8" bolt. 3/8" was the size that leather stop fit on. I drilled the hole about 1/1/4" below the existing stop... Does not have to be exact, You will need a little shorter spring. I found one at ACE Hardware .. I see @Rockytimeis asking a good question... I am not sure of the answer. My guess is that in case of a blade breaking that arm would fly up fast and high... May damage something, I don't know.
  16. Beautiful piece.... You are the master...
  17. should have, could have, but it was an after thought and would have worked if I had taken my time and thought it through....
  18. Nice project, well done. How do you like the saw?
  19. Well not really,,,, stupid got me! I ruined my last Fiona cutting that I posted last week... Decided I wanted to round over the outside edge and a little bit of inattention and the router ate it for me..... Oh well, got the pattern all mounted on another piece of wood and will give it another go... If I let my mistakes discourage me,,, I would not do anything...
  20. Kevin,,,, any wood I have received from Cherokee has been completely wrapped in cellophane. Even if the box gets some wet, the wood should be okay...
  21. They look great... I love the Grinch... Nice work.
  22. That is really outstanding!
  23. Very nice work. The masked ones will be unpopularly,,,,,, popular.... no one will forget this Christmas..
  24. I am still looking hot the flaws.... can't find them did you photo shop them out?? Very nice scrolling.
