  1. Most places I have seen with CNC patterns can also send a PDF pattern for scroll saws... So if you find at a CNC site, check,, it may be available..
  2. Rifle Man??
  3. Hey @amazingkevin,,,, like your beard...
  4. Looks very good... I been scrolling for a long time and still have not tried much inlay... It is time to try.
  5. I agree,,, but then you move beyond "Easy and Fun" which was on this project my purpose..
  6. I have settled on light gray filler,,,, black lines... and I think I have figured how to make that on patterns using Inkscape...
  7. I subscribe to Steve Good's daily news email, have for several years and I donate to him because like Travis, they offer so much to the scrolling world.. A few days ago, Steve sent a pattern for a little tray, to put finger nail polish in... It thought it looked like a fun thing to make me for my,,,,,--- I mean my wife to have... Really I just needed a simple, fun and maybe useful project... I make lots of un-useful projects... So here it is,, my.. my wife's fingernail polish storage tray...Ahmmmm. 1/4" BB,, If I made it again I would not use plywood, I would use some hardwood... It would just look better, IMHO.
  8. Awesome. I know you have explained several times how you make these beautiful projects.. I just can't get my mind wrapped around it... SO, I look in awesomeness.... Super piece... as all of yours are..
  9. Looks like a great job.. Well cut.
  10. Great job.. One of my favorite TV series,,, have watched every episode multiple times... I did not care for the original movie... but the TV was classic...
  11. Very nice cuttings!
  12. WOW! Yes, those are beautiful!! Awesome work..... Mine sits, haven't tried finishing,,, I'm not really sure what to do.... Just stain every other layer is all my imagination can come up with...
  13. Not sure why, but I am a dragon fan... Nice looking clock!
  14. Apparently you haven't heard what happen when he left your shop..... so sad!!!!
  15. Got them sanded out and a dip of tung oil and MS today...
  16. Which is more important,,,, speed or accuracy? The DW788 is faster because it has more from to back motion... It is more aggressive. I think the only importance here is how you like to cut. I am old and slow.... My hegner is the least aggressive saw I have owned... I love it... would not trade it for anyother saw.... Like the tortoise and the hare... Your Dewalt is faster,,, but while you are doing maintenance and repairs,,, I will catch up... And yes you have to use the same blade on each saw to make a comparison.... and how did we get back to 2018?
  17. A #60 drill bit. Yes, I'm not sure she could enforce the selling your piece part though,,, it is yours, I guess you could gift one to someone and if they chose to give you a donation, well.... Does not really matter to me... I don't sell much... mostly just for the fun of making things and so my kid can have a great bonfire when I go...
  18. Oh,,,,, now I am hurt!!!
  19. Welcome to the Village. There are some Arizona members here. Maybe one is close by.... It is so much fun to meet and talk with other members in person..
  20. This is what she wrote in the Scrollsaw Woodworking and Crafts Magazine #81 where I got the pattern from: "
  21. The "Re-do" is the "Bread and Cheese" pattern by Fiona Kingdon. I completed it once before, then destroyed it trying to round over the outside edge.... My mistake,,, picked up the wrong router bit.... All okay I loved scrolling it so I cut it again.... This time it is cut in 1/2" Maple... Dipped in Tung oil. I will probably cut this one a third time, just because I like cutting it... The "New" Fiona Kingdon's "Bee on a Comb", cut in 1/2" Beech. I have not sanded and finished it yet... I really enjoy cutting her patterns... I have several more to go..
  22. Scrappile

    Owl

Worth all the trouble,,,, turned out awesome...!!
  23. Well I re-cut it,,,, and it turned out better than the first one.... Cut this one in Maple...
  24. I got the shot s few days ago... along with my wife.... Got up the next morning and looked in the mirror!!!! And we now found if we talk to each other when standing close to each other,,,, we hear "feedback".....
  25. Great job!
