It sounds like too much glue to me. I try to use a very light mist and let it get almost dry before applying the pattern to the wood. Almost like using contact cement.

Dan, what do you mean by " line pattern"? How would it differ?

Look for a good used Dewalt. You won't be sorry. They are a workhorse and can be bought for $200-300.

You might try going up to the file menu and scroll down to recent. That should give you a list of files recently opened. Either that or start over and import that file again and make your changes. Then click on "save as" and give it a name and a location to put it. I use desktop so it's easy to find. In fact you might check the desktop and see if there is a new Inkscape file that showed up there. If so, click on it and Inkscape should open it. I'm not any sort of expert but have head scars to prove my ineptitude.

It could have been bad but luckily my reflexes kicked in and I jerked my hand back. It just nicked the end of my thumb. I now have a small scar and a dead spot on my thumb.

I did that too. Did it on my table saw too.

As far as I know they are. Only the short saws can't. Not sure about the 22 inch.

Fretwork with the QuickClamp should be no problem.

If I'm not mistaken you can use the QuickClamp on any of the Hegner saws. But you can't use the front tension release mechanism on the 14-inch saw. They do offer a quick tension release for the rear of the saws that I think will work on all saws. As was suggested call or email Wolfgang.

As did I when I was a hot-rodding teen and loved to listen to the loud engines. I recall Art Arfons and his jet dragster. I loved how that thing would rattle my eardrums. I sold tools in noisy garages and body shops for almost 40 years too. I now wear hearing aids but so does everybody I know. Except my wife who claims to have "immaculate conception" grade hearing. Except when I speak to her. LOL.

Of my 3 saws, the Hegner is the quietest.

Fill it in with clear resin and highlight it.

Surely you jest! Obviously 2 different saws. The red paint alone on the frame is a giveaway. They might be using pictures from an ad or ???

I use a piece of Corian that was cut out of our counter for the sink.
