    I hate to rain on the parade but there is another spelling error. It should be "Difference" not Differance. I like option A for the name fix.

    Here is my attempt at this great pattern. Not sure what the wood is, except thin! This is only my third attempt at spirals. Used a #1. Some lines became suggestions . Finished with beeswax/mineral oil.

    A few more items for stock. One of my upcoming shows is for a cat rescue, hence the two cat puzzles. Wood is poplar ordered from KJP hardwood.

    Thanks Paul. The mane and tail are actually painted. It is a bronze colour that has a bit of sparkle to it. The horns are painted with a multi-colour sparkle.

    It looks great. Take the pattern off and put it away for a couple of days. Take it out, you won't see the "mistakes". We are always our own worst critics.

    The cards a a combination of a couple of poems and say With a sprinkle of magic and a dash of holiday cheer, this key only works on special day each year. Place this key on Christmas eve somewhere that I can plainly see. Love from Santa Claus

    Finicky little things, but sell okay. 17 keys done. The 18th one met with unfortunate sanding mishap . Oak, from a friends scrap pile. Painted with craft acrylic paint. I didn't put a top coat on.

    I like the colour one as well. I did a different lighthouse. The backer is just a thicker paper.

    I haven't read all the comments but skimmed a lot of them. Same advice - it isn't a race. A few years ago I totally stressed about time. I stopped reading lots of posts because they were giving time estimates. Steve Good even will do that. When I stopped reading those, the enjoyment returned. I have noise cancelling headphone, tune in to some good jazz or 70's soft rock and zone out!! Enjoy the hobby - you are not in a competition.

    What a stunning piece of work Don! I can't wait to see the completed piece. If you hadn't said anything about the colours, I certainly wouldn't know.

    Looks great as is. As someone said, subtle is good. I think it would also look good if the pieces were darkend a bit, creating contrast that way!
